A quick suggestion from me for WG-EU to make some real money, allow a transfer to another server for a fee. You do that and I for one would snap your hand off. Because for all your talk about specials balancing themselves out you won't allow it because you know as well as I do as a company it simply isn't true and you are just trying to milk the hell out of anyone foolish enough to sign up to the EU server(and I'm not getting at anyone I did it twice!!! once in WOT and once in WOWs(based on the promise I would be able to transfer my gold over), so I'm doubly stupid Edited November 28, 2016 by BlueMoon51 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And we did get some discounts there as well, namely -15% on premium account. I fail to see your point... I do understand that buying premium ships with doubloons in game is a bit of a detour but I like it better if I want the ship without any bundle. I simply have so many empty port slots from previous sales, and they got even more with the duplicate ARP ships I already had. So I better save the slot and captain. I wouldn't mind WG having another shot at though, an infinitely small chance for a good deal is still better than no good deal. But it appears WG in full money-squeeze mode on the EU server for now ... and apparently it works since they can continue doing it without having to cater to players that aren't compulsive buyers. It's still mostly just a symbolic concession compared though I suppose it does constitute some sort of progress. I'm not going to thank them for it yet though, since gratitude would require some actual neat deals (14% discount on 180/360 days of premium compared to NA's 50% discount ). NA already got some of the best deals we have seen such as 1 year of premium for something like 30quid which is a bargain i would have snapped up twice if it is possible to have 720days of premium. The ingame event is nice, but the Premium shop sales are a big disappointment. 50% off on Prem-time would have made me spend some coin, but the measly discount we got (which by itself is kinda fine - if all servers got the same discount)...nope, not while NA gets 50% off. I was expecting some actual deals and rare Premium ships (Kamikaze) in the store, which WG failed to deliver. Even worse, in WoT they put a Tank in the store that is more expensive than the already existing Premium: the T34 B. 60€ for a paintjob? Talk about discounts... As a collector it's nice to have and yes, i bought that bloody thing, which in retrospect was probably a mistake. When thinking about it, it's actually a shameless ripoff and could have been handled better, maybe as exclusive perma camo for Gold, like they do in WoWS. And other tanks would have been more suited for this kind of "deal": put in a variant of the Type 59 with adjusted stats and sell it as "Black" version, not only would folks buy it like crazy, the community wouldn't feel like they've been ripped off or fooled. Despite the rather nice ingame event, this is another of WGs f$ck-ups and a another b$tch-slap in the face of EU server and some more slaps in the faces of their entire playerbase with the sale of the T34 B. The only thing I am willing to spend on without thought is a premium account, and I'd rather do this by the month because who knows how long I'll play this game for. I would hate to pay for a years premium and then give up the game 2 weeks later. As a consumer I'd personally rate the weekend as disappointing. A +100 % XP on first victory (we have that almost every weekend, exeptions when the bonus is higher) and some rebates on ingame content (usually a class or nation, this time premium ships and time). The few differences however: discounted premium time 180/360 days (only discounted on special occasions like Christmas - this time even combined with the Paypal doubloon bonus), and discount for almost all premium ships at once. Although unlike the USA sales where on Black Friday you get cheap stuff shoved up your bottom with a cherry on top, EU at least had a wide variety that we usually don't have.
