I heard Graf Zeppelin and realized CVs need love too. Graf Zeppelin is nowhere near as popular as either Bismarck or Prinz Eugen. Fully understandable in the case of Prinz Eugen, but still.

I pm'd @Nohe21 the link between destroyers and video posted with the 'little girls' right after he posted that, also asked him if he knew Takao ( from image ). I hope I didn't scare him too much

Trust me btw, this thread is probably already monitored as it's the longest recruitment thread and also the most active still. I think they fear we might be preparing to take over server

I really like some of the new mods as they tend to have more humour and actually write something else than just "Thread closed due to X, Y and Z and will be removed later".

Yeah they tend to engage more with community, I also feel this is a good thing as it breeds goodwill. 

 

Edit: I miss BBV though, I really do. We will forever refer to the closing of threads as a 'vukkening'

So basically the plan is to have @Aotearas go to the Gamescom and get codes for the clan? do we really not have another couple of scrubs going? :|

I somehow doubt they're going to give me enough bonus codes to supply the entire clan(s) with, though if WG decides to shower me with stuff, I won't say no and naturally share.

 

Would be neat if any other Scrubs are going to Gamescom on the wednesday so we can meet up, maybe lick a window or two.

Jokes aside, I hope it will be a fun event. I couldn't attend to one, and from what I know it was a nice one. Gamescom is on a completely different scale.

In cases like this it would be really nice to have the ability to write messages to the whole clan, like a notification ingame. With the two sub-clans it's hard to ask everybody if they're going or not.

It would be nice to go to GC for a meeting but for reasons it's a biiiit hard for me to go. Though hotel could be AO's house, the plane tickets would still cost a bit. Tbh I'm not sure if I can sleep on AO's house without creeps going down my spine

 

 

On other hand, at the time of GC I'll be visiting the Koli national park so I already have booked things to do for that week.

Considering I only have a small student appartment that would barely accomodate another mattress if I threw everything else out, I doubt I could offer acceptable hospitality.

Today I had one of my worst streaks ever, didnt play particularly well, some bad teams too......... and omg is Roon shít. I fully admit that I still have to figure that ship out bit it does absolutely no damage, is huge, its sluggish. I did supergears in beginning to compensate for the rudder shift with A-hull -> not feasible. Enemy DD presses A once and everyone shoots you up from the spawn. Its worse than old Pensacola (that thing turned).... So now I have CE-module, B-Hull and only normal gears ...... its still crap. It cant do any damage with HE (naturally) and you need to be around 14 km for the AP (and you can still go screw yourself when against angled targets on even unarmored sections).

 

So, a ship that cant do any damage from range, needs to go into the effective gun range of a T 4 Battleship to do any damage, and its sluggish as hell and painfully slow + bleeding speed like hell. (This things needs supergears, CE and propulsion mod all at once!).

I mean, I hated the Ibuki ..... its worse than the Takao and I gladly play it over the Ibuki, but this Roon puts things into a different perspective ......... 

It goes without saying, but: No carry potential whatsoever. Might abort the Hindenburg-project after the Roon grind completely and not buy it at all ....... its the same crap with even worse concealment, but a turret more - and unlike Yamato (one day) I dont have to have the paper-ship for the pure sake of owning it.

Might change my mind once I figured that pos out, but I dout it. /rant.

I have OFS installed right now, even have a controller just for OFS ( not like I play other flight sims or platformers ). I was playing Sync yesterday!
