When you are at the top of your game, you try hard, as if something depended on this one random battle, yet somehow, you manage to lose, barely. Still you manage to get away with a small victory - and that is that you even beat the winning team in experience.

This one I lost with about 20 points (domination), because hitting a Fahragut (or any US DD for that matter) with 3 torpedo bombers in 15sec is damn hard. The New York was too far away to reach in the limited time and capping was sadly out of the question due to positioning of the enemies.

 

 

 

I posted this here, because this is neither a great achievement nor a failure, so it didn't really fit in the other threads.

 

Also yay for non-crappy reward in a CV... premium CV, with premium account. Yay I guess? In Tirpitz that would have been 1 mio credits >_>

Not sure how you would read that into it? I just want to see the most ridiculous losses of everyone, just for the fun of it. I was actually quite happy after that game.

Nothing wrong with sharing some game experiences. Iv had a few of these type of losses myself. Haven't got screens tho but I know the feeling. Still Iv often still had great fun and a great game even if it was a loss

My guess would be, that he is complaining about the somewhat melodramatic topic title. ;)

I just had this match half an hour before (that just scraps by short of being top score, but not by much:

 

 

Game started well with a veeeeery satisfying Devastating Strike on the enemy Belfast (quadruple citadel FTW!) but for some reason the team just started dying stupid deaths (a nearly full health König ramming a badly hurt enemy König) or were otherwise removing themselves from the battle (including two BBs sailing up the 1 line ... one of them the (barely) surviving Colorado of all things) and me and my divisionmate together with another lone cruiser were quickly forced to defend our cap against half the enemy team (three BBs and four CLs).

I just barely died before I could ram the only remaining enemy ship in our half of the map so they couldn't cap us out, but even that would've been fruitless because that aforementioned Colorado would've died to the enemy Scharnhorst anyway because apparently someone misplaced his/her brain and put a huge steaming pile of you-know-what in there instead.

 

But at least I earned good credits with the futile defensive action.

People don't like clickbait, that's not a secret. I still thought an exciting title would be better than something overly descriptive like "look at those games where you did really well, but still lost, which are noteworthy enough for you to have made a screenshot to remember it, because you enjoyed it, despite it being a loss".

That game would have been a Solo Warrior if I had won as well, the end was 5 on 1. That really would have reinforced the 'Nikolai OP' topic

As you can see by my current stats I could probably fill this thread myself, however, I'm playing Double Hard Bastard Mode (tier 8 CA's) at the minute so I'm struggling!

I have a bit of those saved, but I guess this one will be fine for starting it.
When you score 2 devastating strikes, 6 kills etc, and your team just refuses to win.

Ofc CV xp gain is so screwed up atm, that after all of this I've barely got a bit higher xp then 2nd one in my team...

Extremly hard fought battle and I nearly won 1v3. During the final minutes of the battle I tried to hold a cap, got 226/279 defense points. Had our AFK guy fought a litte, we would have won.

That reminds me of one of my WoT games, where I managed to get 6xp in a t6 artillery (back then that was the max tier, so equall to t10) IN A X3 XP SPECIAL WIN.

 

And it's a kongou... that must have been an unfortunate detonation, I can't see other way.

Not more than first on winning team, but very close. Dont know how we lost really, becouse 0,5 seconds after my last kill we lost on points, so i would thought we should get + and they - but what the heck :
