I think it should be a unique captain on a unique ship with some unique lines.

Well, the lines differe vastly in quality compared to standard captains, so they are kinda unique.^^

Brits absolutely need a true Brit. I'd suggest Sean Connery, but he's Scottish, and we can't have that. I'd take Kevin Costner instead.

Well I think for the Russian's they should contact a Russian Actor famous for in my eyes for playing a lead role in a Naval Civil War Admiral which is a very good film... but it's also a Romance

Costner -> American

Takei -> american born Japanese, but at least japanese. I'd rather do with Takeshi Kitano or Togo Igawa. First choice would have been Toshiro Mifune, but with him being dead already
