Maybe, but i think they will stick to it since this affects all servers.

Well according to the EU website we 'better stock up free xp' so assume it's similar to other servers but I worry that the requirements for EU will be a lot higher based on past events.

Does anyone know why ammunition is so expensive for US tier 8+ battleships?  I sold Iowa just after 3 battles after i saw huge costs for ammunition in battle report and then moved to german line of BBs.

I have Izumo and Fredrich Grosse, and their ammunition is nowhere near expensive as for Iowa.

Do you never use it?  As much as I could probably have survived without using mine, I can always find uses for it getting ships from stock to usable as soon as possible.  My recent purchases were 25k for taiho flight deck mod 2, 15k to upgrade the fighters and then 22k on the FCS for Ibuki all of which makes you vaguely competitive - the rest of the upgrades I grind the old fashioned way.  I actually just got to the point where I could free XP the B hull but didn't but I'm still down at around 15k remaining.

 

I will check when I get home but I think I have several hundred papa flags I'll stick on some ships and I have an unholy amount of wasted XP I can convert - it is something I generally refuse to do as I already spend too much on this game, but if I am buying dubloons specifically to convert to buy a premium ship then it is the same as just handing cash over in the premium shop.

I find i rarely use it tbh, i was going to use it get the Benson/Bismarck for ranked but i am not close enough for just 1 of them let alone the upgrades.

 

In general i just grind, playing a ship from stock generally teaches me how to play it but i was going to use some to avoid playing the RN line since T4/5 is bad and it seems the Leander is playable at least.

 

As for the flags i just stock them up, i only use them like when ranked is on and if it is XP flags i use when XP events are on so i get the most out of them.

 

Premium time and ships also help with the free XP, i already have sunk quite a bit into this game already more than WOT i would say but i prefer it and find it fun.

I dont know how i feel about this. On one hand i am happy because i will get a free T9 ship (free i mean i have much free xp and i am not grinding anything so it is essentially useless at the moment), but i fear about the wallet warriors or low tier bobs who might have saved enough free xp sailing in Kongos and  Isokazes to suddenly populate the T9/10 matchmaking...

If it is like the ARP ships and is just a reskinned ship then i really expect it to be damn cheap really.

I'm wondering if the "XP bonus" could be boosted xp conversion as this would tie in with a free xp mission and also a "cyber sale"...

My guess is it will be pretty much a re-skin and a true premium in terms of captain training and credit earning.

 

As for needing the NC - no - anyone who meets the requirements will be able to have it regardless of what ships they currently own.

I think that WG will fully expect that most people will not be able to get it without spending dubloons - it is a tier 9 premium after all.
