It's ridiculous. Edited November 7, 2016 by donarkaz

Solution one: Give all DDs an amour belt: Game = world of battleships Solution two: Remove all DDs from the Game: = world of battleships Edited November 7, 2016 by mikelight1805
terios ∞ Players 119 posts 8,935 battles Report post #79 Posted November 7, 2016 The one change that SHOULD be implemented in this game is INVISI-FIRE, IT SHOULD NOT EXIST! Fullstop. It's ridiculous. You can remove invisi-fire if you remove the magic RNG citadel hit mechanics from BB cannons. So there won't be any more guided cruise missile like bullets, that's separate from the rest of the salvo and hits into the citadel, no matter that the aim was off and how the defending ship was evading. Now imagine all the BBabies crying, that they can't hit anything from 20km and nerf maneuvering immediately!

I think that any solution we will try always will make someone unhappy. So only thing I can say - I will vote for Status quo. Regards to you all.

Invisi-fire is controversial, but unavoidable magic citadel hits are not? It seems like a double standard for me...
[-M-W-] Puzur_Inshushinak Players 69 posts 30,256 battles Report post #82 Posted November 7, 2016 Did I said anything about citadel hits ?You did mention it and suddenly accusing me about double standards.I have been hit many times with shells from long range that I thought has to miss.If we will remove everything what will remain.I wish there will be a better way to balance the game. G3Virus Players 448 posts 20,182 battles Report post #83 Posted November 7, 2016 You should know that in computer science true randomnes do not exist only an algorithm for generating a sequence of numbers whose properties approximate the properties of sequences of random numbers. And yes this I do know so I'm not the only one assuming everything. I noticed this from programming some simple games as a kid and that it could be exploited and I also know this since its actually a part of learning C or C++, not that I am a programmer but I like many have done a program here or there for the fun of it. So yes software implemented randomness is not "true" randomness just an illusion of it. There are solutions like hardware generators using external sources to increase security, I use that on some of my systems but even those are not safe if there are back doors or people tampering whit them to influence them. But then it all boils down to IF the universe is predetermined or random in its very nature, we dont know do we so as I see it it all comes down to what we do know and understand. Only WG knows how there "random" functions in the game are implemented but it has been discussed in the forum and there are some theory's. In the end Im satisfied if the system appears random so it cant be exploited by the players. So yes it seems like we agree on something now so maybe we should just leave it at that and call it a truce? Best Regards G3Virus
[-M-W-] Puzur_Inshushinak Players 69 posts 30,256 battles Report post #84 Posted November 7, 2016 Hello I will do so. There is probably many more things that we can agree upon. I did some programing in my time to (still thinking about it for sheer joy of creating something). I wish you only wins in all your battles. Have fun
