Best Cruiser Line

Fiji is love. I skipped all RN cruisers T1-6 and went straight to Fiji. No regrets. I probably won't even sell it, ever. Just will eventually need a new captain as the high level one will move on. Fiji can perform with a level 3 captain easily.

 

@Topic - low tier RN and high tier RN is simply two different things. Low tier you are squishy and BBs have no superstructure to shoot and your AP is meh, your range is meh. Higher tier your range is still kind of meh, but you can seriously hurt BBs without torps.

 

Fiji is so far the only T7 I have kept of all lines & nations.

 

Now I am at Neptune and it also seems that it will be the only T9 keeper as well.

 

I played all the low tiers and they are not as bad as people claim.

All in all, for me so far RN proved to be the most fun cruiser line.

 

I believe that in time it will become much more popular, once people actually try them and get over all the negative propaganda spewed on the forums in the first days of introduction.

Of course, I understand that some people do not like them and find them weak and whatnot (and that is a legitimate opinion), however overall I would personally rate RN as the strongest cruiser line we currently have in WoWs.

To me RN cruisers seems to be extremely strong against dumb people as only thnig you have to do to pretty much nullify their damage is to angle.

Is Minotaur near? Just sail full speed slightly angled from him, maneuver bit and pepper him from your backwards turrets. Works even in lightly armored ships 2 tiers lower (tested in Kutuzov and Chapayev where my HE spam did more dmg to him then he was able to)

This is true, but as a RN captain I tend to choose my battles a little more - I won't engage anything that's manoeuvring at range over 10km unless it's a battleship, and I certainly won't chase something down unless it's a DD. The skill in RN CLs is tactical; getting yourself into the middle of an advance (without being deleted on the way) so you can take massive bites out of BBs and CAs at short range, giving them little chance of escape.
