Nothing really wrong with these ships. You simply need a brain larger than the average field mouse to use them correctly. Iv no problem being top of the table regularly with brit cruisers.

 

In short it sounds like we will not be loosing anything of worth if you leave so please shut the door on the way out

Tier 2 and 3 I had a pretty miserable time of but I'm enjoying the Danae a lot. Can't speak from experience for 5+ but heard 6-7+ they get really good.

 

I'll admit to being mildly terrified of the Emerald though as it seems on paper to have all the worst features of the Danae except now it's facing Scharnhorsts. I do not expect to have a fun time in that one. Please for the love of God someone correct me if I'm wrong there because that'd be a comfort.

I'm not sure anything could be as fragile as the Caledon.

Tiers 6/7/8 are less fragile in terms of not getting instakilled by most hits if that's what you mean. Especially tier 6(Leander) has a very small citadel. When you reach Tier 9 you are going to get the biggest citadel ever invented by mankind and absolutely any AP-hit will citadel you. You are also huge and impossible to miss. Luckily you have gatling-guns by then but just make sure you spec for full concealment. Tier X is slightly smaller and much stealthier. Just don't get shot at. Ever.

Back to the ships. Tiers 2-5 are pants, the tier 6 is decent enough though.

I am by no means even a 'good' player, barely scraping in at the 'ok' level. I waited patiently for the Brit line to arrive, and since it did I have played very little else.

 

Seriously steep learning curve, but I persevered. Hated that god-awful Emerald, but everything above it up to Edinburgh has been fantastic. Leander is still (IMO) the best of the bunch.

 

Sure, I rarely survive the battle.

Sure, I am still not a 'good' player. But I am having a blast.

 

If I can do it anyone can. So to the OP I would merely say, if they don't suit you don't wear them.

there's no point in these posts wg won't fix the royal navy. plus to many artard bb fanboys in this game it should be called world of battleship and friends  .the meta is stuck and wg won't fix that either . because there are so many brainy people using bbs and crying about a cruiser maybe getting he with 4 % fire chance or less or none at all because bb cry baby's get there way ,dd nerfs rn nerfs ,bow on nerf doesn't come  to bbs all advantages for one class bb cry baby's so there is no point in these posts ,unless it's for russian cruisers or german ijn or us bbs. so unless you want them to f up royal navy bbs dds or cvs i'd just leave it.

i dont want to see what neptune or minotaur could do with he.If u give broadside to them u will melt,fast.The lower tiers need a little bit of love but the high tiers one are fine and amazing by me.Had some pretty intense matches in them and a lot of fun.I must admit i enjoy the grind on neptune better than i enjoyed on donskoi.

Yes they are harder to play ,but also really really rewarding if played right!

Had a good battle last night around 2am in my Leander, very close match with both sides down to two ships each. Not saying this happens all the time but sometimes you can get the odd nice battle. I have mixed feelings about these British CL.

Up to T7 now, and the only weakness I'm really unhappy about is the rudder shift time. These nimble light cruisers are more sluggish than my IJN or USS heavy cruisers
