Nonsenses about CV gameplay

Just two nonsenses about how WOWS is becoming absurd in airfighting gameplay:

 

Number one:

CV AA is less effective than BBS AA.

All know like in real Pacific II WW, CV had best AA between all ships, togheter with Cruisers.

In WOWS it doesnt. Same-tiers BBS has equivalent (or better) AA than CV.

Actually is easyest attack with bombers enemy CV than BBS.

 

Number two:

Fighters had less AA power than ships.

Using a carrier is frequent to see how is more easy to lose planes by enemy ships AA than enemy fighters.

If you hunt a bombers squadron with fighters, you need run behind them half map before shot them down all, instead entire squadrons of bombers can be shot down by ships AA in a while.

 

Those considerations togheter increased cost of planes, make CV game actually barely impossible.

 

Pls WG, stop upset reality about airfighting.

BBS AA is owerpowered!

Fighters attack power is underpowered!

TBH, strafing is a huge power multiplier for fighters. So imho fighters are in the right spot.

If you manage (and your opponent allows) a good strafe with your fighters, you can wipe out a whole squadron (or five) in one strafe. Basically, fighters autoattack is more about panicking the attack squadrons and keeping in place (so they cannot strafe you or so you can capitalize on numbers advantage) enemy fighters. Killing enemy planes quickly is what strafing is for. Now, if it was a bit more responsive, without random circling throwing the aim off and allowing enemy to escape...

 

Either way, the shift of focus from autoattack to strafing was a welcome change do CV gameplay when it happened. And at later tiers CVs get defensive fire consumable that makes them pretty much unsnipable. I don't thinkt they really need more AA as far as balance is conserned. And "but in real world" arguments don't really hold much water in an arcade game.
