Hey

This maybe useless thread because no one gives a torp.

But why Lo Yangs 9.2 Km Torpedoes are not same as used in Benson?

Lo Yang: 11600 (Stock Mod 0 Torps)

Benson: 16633 ( Mod 3 Torps )

This two ships are same ships so..

Torpedo models are not.

If someone can give historical fact that Republic of China got only "older" model 0 torpedoes.

USN Torpedo buff was long ago but did they forgot to put them on Lo Yang or because of reasons.

Of course Lo Yang has 6km Mk31 option but they really are not that handy because of the horrible loading time.

Dont Judge me if you dont know what im talking about.

This has bigger impact on Ranked.

Because in WG games the premium always is weaker then the regular equivalent

When Soviet DD's Had 7% Fire Chance they buffed it to 8%

But Anshan did not get that.

They said because China used diffirent shells historically or did try justify it somehow.

So sometimes they Use Historic magic card  and sometimes they use Balance Card.

Sometimes they use The Retard explanation card

The 9.2km torpedoes on the lo yang are the same as the Benson stock torpedoes. The lo Yang's upgraded torpedoes are the upgraded Benson ones on a faster speed/lower range setting.

Wrong. That was long time ago the policy for Tanks in WoT.

That was never the policy for WoWS, nor should it ever be.

Ship may be the same but where is Taiwan going to get torpedoes?  That's right... Taiwan.  I'm amazed they're any use at all.

But all options are USA made torpedoes.

That is correct.

Maybe they wanted to add some variety that maybe the most logical explanation.

The same place Taiwan got all it's other post WW2 equipment, the US.

They gave them a destroyer I'm sure they would have had plenty of WW2 torps lying around to give them as well.

"M3 Light Tank" was Stuart... which started a whole tradition.

I have a feeling the P51 only got the name "Mustang" because of the Brits.

P51 was designed for the Brits. USAF started using them when they realised how good it was

Well after a Brit had stuffed a Merlin engine in it. The Mustang was like the Firefly, American mass production improved by a British component shoved in by a guy in a shed.

Perfect meld: American body with the heart of a Spitfire.

Yes but how does this mean anything with Republic of China ?

We are talking about Lo Yang and the list of torpedoes are USA made that are different torpedo models not just names.

When Kuomintang fled to Taiwan and made nice nation there it relied USA giving weapons to them.

Back then they had Economical problems that they needed to solve before starting to develope own weapons.

PS. M5A1 (Stuart) tank got nickname "The Bear of Kinmen" in Republic of China.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Guningtou

China's History is my hobby 20th century of it.

I love Lo Yang :)
