Saratoga's my favourite American ship. Well, after Kamoi, if you count her. Really like her design and art.

 

And as for order, well... I've done that too many times, after events. And saved in my KC spreadsheet collection, with stats for a bunch of stuff. Spreadsheets are fun. Which means I could put a favourite order number to every single ship in the game, abyssals included.

So this program will create a list right? Kinda interesting to go through it as I mostly know only the capital ships. So many DDs that I have no idea who they are. In such a case I just pick the one which looks more mature :D

 

Overall I have already created one rule for this: Capital ship will always trump everything else. CA/CL will also beat DDs (Hamakaze/Akizuki class/Yuudachi+sis may be exceptions :P ).

CV wise Shoukaku comes first for me, Katsuragi 2nd, with probably Graf as 3rd. The only problem is is that I still don't have Shoukaku...

Thou this is the kind of thing that I try to do fast to not think too much (for character ranking, thinking about it is the enemy of honesty and the ally of bias : no more than a few seconds per choice), I think I was biased nonetheless, because all the italians reach my top 10 (save for Roma for some reasons)

 

And since you were talking about carriers - I got really stuck when I had to choose between Aquila and Takanami and ended up hitting Tie. So they're both first...

Character I like the less : apparently Tenryuu. I am not surprised.

Ranking Cvs is dang difficult, gotta admit though Zuikaku and shoukaku are high on my list.. although I have yet to be graced by shoukaku's presence , but then i go ahead and think some more What about all those CVLs like ryújó jun'you and zuiho,  and then there's kaga and saratoga....

I have to admit, I think I have come to like Ark Royal more than I imagined.

Just a shame I didn't bother to finish the event and get her. Just have not felt motivated over the last 2 events to actually finish them.

...More because she's British than anything else, though.

I actually like Re-class' design as a 'boss-in-mook-clothing' so much I got mad at Weiss Schwarz for giving me such a pathetic Re-class card.

- Requires opponent to be playing KanColle for first ability. (there are like 50 different franchises represented in WS)

- Second ability is okay, but she has low power to start with. (low power for L2, but coupled with first ability could be quite good to pop out a level early...if not for KanColle requirement)

- Third ability is really, really pointless for a level 2 card. (sure, I get to see what my top card is, but if it's a Climax WTH do I do about it, other than try to mill it out before it ends up trapped in stock? And returning a L0 to enemy deck? Seriously? Why not L1 or 2?)

Well, uh. I'd take it only as directive result. It is roughly correct, but also has some oddities regarding the mutual relation/position of several capital ships (+ some cruisers). Anyways, was still interesting to see this list.

 

So, my waifus would be

 

BB: Nagato  -> not a surprise

CV: Kaga  -> need to say anything?

CL: Yahagi  -> same as above

CA: Suzuya  -> not really a surprise, Tone was also in mind as a competitor

DD: Murasame  -> this was kinda surprise, or rather, couldn't anticipate which of the favourite DDs would get the 1st place

 

 

 

 

When it comes to CAs, why can't just take them all :P

That's one of the evils of the sorter. You get all those matchups you really don't want to choose between, or you've never considered, so it's bloody hard. But hopefully not literally.

Yeah, a list that's probably mostly accurate. Or rather, it's accurate as far as your input goes, but what I've learned is that it's very hard to actually be consistent in your opinions. Even a slight mistake can give a huge effect. It's easy to fall into patterns, think you've clicked down someone "enough" that she deserves a chance, or any other lapse in judgement. That will end up skewing the results.

You can be biased any way you want. The important part is to be biased the same way throughout the list, or you can end up with some choices pushing others much further up or down than you'd expect, or maybe more than what you'd actually think.

 

Takanami was one of those I got during my first event, and I was like, "Who's this, and why should I care?" Then after the event, she got her rainy season CG, where she actually looks happy rather than mostly uncomfortable. So I decided to keep her at least through that season. After that, she got an update to her kai CG, where she basically just dropped the umbrella but still looked happy. By that time she'd reall grown on me, and she's now one of my top destroyers, at 16. That might not sound like a high position, but with 257 entries, that's still high up. And the top competition is tough.

As for the Abyssals, my favourites are Re-class (especially if you read the doujin of the Shiba-inu admiral :p) and the Ta-class I always found impressive.

Shokaku was the first rare drop I ever got. And I got her only 15 minutes or so after unlocking her in WoWS. She has been my go to carrier for most of everything. In WoWS, when the teams just fail, or in KC, when I really need a CV but lv41 Akagi took a lucky torp. So I decided to set her as my forum picture.

But when it comes down to picking a fav. I would have to pick Yahagi (Note, I did not infact have Yahagi at the time).

My favourite Carrier is deffinetly Shokaku with Zuikaku close second.

For Battleships it's probably Mutsu or Warspite.

 

I do not really go and decide too much on the others. Too many damn girls to even bother going through them all. Been playing the game long enough to basicly have them all anyway. 

 

Regarding Abyssals my Favourite is Light Cruiser Princess. Basicly Abyssal version of Jintsu. Aircraft Defense Princess is probably second.
