We have a bunch of new players in our clan (me included, it is our first event) and some just started.

But our whole clan know and Praise the Poi anyway. (Yeah, lately I'm also playing Dark Souls 3 and it has some influence on me too)

Nah, it has influence on me. :3

 

I'm at the Grand Archive at the moment (I did Untended Grave first and unlocked the Archdragon Peak tho). And I'm currently away from the PC that have the specs to play DS3 properly, so it will be some times before I can actually progress in the game.

I plan to clear it once with my musclebrain character (seriously, full specced in DEX, STR and VIG. Magic ? What's that ?), and then create another character and cosplay as Ruler from Fate/Apocrypha. With Lothric War Banner as a weapon for the cosplay and some strong Miracles it should works quite well, or at least be funny to use. :3

Well, ofc I was kinda exaggregating things, but still, playerbase has changed so much from the closed phase of the game that the amount of animu (knowing) guys has relatively dropped a lot.

Well Poi is not really dead. I played in my Akatsuki and said poi to the enemy. 2 guys replied back with poi. so dead? not really. Else if you want poi. get to the Asia server :P

Do we really need to beat the dead horse here? Yes, poi appears sometimes, but when compared to the closed phase it's dead.

I think one thing the anime series did wrong was to just spam catch phrases and then continuing on to the next character. I can just play the game if all I want is to hear the same lines over and over. It's something that just flattens the characters, rather than explores them as an extended continuity should do, IMO.

Although Asakaze is my avatar, she isn't really my waifu - not even my favourite DD, I just think the Kamikaze-class design is pretty (with their meiji-era school uniforms ), Asakaze doubly so and Kamikaze happens to be my most-played ship in this game. So it made sense to pick Asa-chan.

 

RJ is mai waifu, followed closely by Whale, Falcon and a plethora of DDs and Subs (especially the brown ones...*drool*). Yes, I like smallness and cuteness, please don't arrest me!

The coastal defense ships (and a certain new foreign sub) on the other hand are mai daughteru - I love them unconditionally, but not in a romantic sense.

 

Asakaze, by comparison, is like that little sister you just want to tease and make mad (to me, at least).

If you all miss poi a lot, then make use of this tactic to make poi appear in the chat (And annoy the shiet out of the enemy team) What youll need: 

1. Hands so you can type Poi.

2. A div mate whos also a KanColle person and is ready to type poi.

3.Ships (Choose Shiratsuyu for a reason :P)

Join the battle, and spam poi. Congratulations. You have successfully learnt how to annoy Enemies using Yuudachi. (There is 99% chance of losing Karma to reports) .

I want to do this, too bad my friend is "off the game" for a while..... But onces hes back, The Kongou div and poi will reign terror on the EU server. (maybe?)

Well. Dunno now........ But in that battle with my Akatsuki where we three (2 in the enemy) had said poi, one guy in our team said weebs.... Guess thats why now people arent saying it much (They dont wanna be weebs) Or theyve just had enough of the game and Jumped Ship, to KanColle or some other random meme.

After one match I got reported 4 times for killing someone with my Shira (using the torp reload boost) and answered on his complaining with poi.

After that some other players were also triggered (even from my own team) and so I got some reports for that.

 

So I'm not really surprised to see no more poi. I guess you'll do it 3 times and you'll get chatbanned.

No one likes to have fun nowdays..... (Term from TF2) Everyone here has become TRYHARDS.

Definition: A person who does too much to destroy the enemy team and blames his own team for him getting killed when he only killed himself by some random shiet.

They are REALLY salty people.

Most of it really is all those that think only proper WW2 things should belong in this game and that it break their "immersion".

And then there are those that have a bad view of anything enime in general.

Thats true but then again, at the end of the day its still a game so no need to take things seriously. If you play games for Competition and not relaxation or just fun, you are a real Tryhard.... But seriously tho, the Asia Server still is Anime Friendly :P But now, just forget bout that, there are still people who know and say Poi, so at least they are still there...
