Clothes design threw me off somehow so i never checked them before. They look... a little goofy (sorry). Checking them now after finding to like Haya i can see some of them are quite interesting characters, but still i don't think i'll find other sisters so likable as the ghostly one.

Mostly because the best characters for me are the sad/calm characters. Shigure and NuiNui best DDs ;)

 

How can you like destroyers if you have a name praising Kitakami ? o_o

She has moments of weakness as well

To be true, coming to this game here i had a vision of playing cruisers and hunting little pesky ones. That's why i took the name of the biggest DD hater. Then i've found myself in WoWs beta playing mostly BBs while praising torpedo goddess, hilarious i know, met some comments about it in battle chat as well

Well, I am also one of those weirdos among weirdos who ships ships' ships more than getting a waifu, and actually I've never played Kancolle at all

It's probably the color. The purple (color of imperial Rome) mixed with the sleeveless jacket (more often associated with worker's overalls) does create a visual clash.

The purple is far different from that of imperial Rome tho. Yuugumos outfit is a mix between cosmic and cannon pink. Imperial's rome color is between various shades of royal purpleand deluge. No-one would mistake them...

... Besides, why would that create a clash ? I mean there are other weird outfits in Kancolle and they don't receive such hate >.<

Just a guess. I've been awake for 20 hours, everything makes sense to me right now. Besides the reception my Hindenburg is getting. Do people really hate her that much?

I was thinking about a really cool unit for kancolle: the Submarine Luigi (it's me luigi) Torelli 

it's the only unit with another italian submarine to fight in all 3 navy of the axis power, she can have a modification for all the designation (like U511) Luigi Torelli for combat submarine, Aquila VI (Eagle VI) for transport version then after the 8th september U IT25 and then after fall of germany the I504 for the IJN

The other was the Marcello class submarine Comandante Cappellini/UIT-24/I-503. By the end of the war she had a mixed crew of Italian, German, and Japanese sailors. She was also present at the rescue effort after the Laconia incident where a German U-boat torped a British ship carrying Italian PoWs.

I just read the whole doujin of the badass masochist admiral, and that was awesome. Both hilarious, badass, and sometimes very HNNNGGG. Murakumo is true waifu material too.

I just noticed you can upload a cover image in your profile. And other can see it too.

I wanted to upload a badass Nagamon but I realised she was draped in a Hinomaru, so that's out. Kiso didn't work either (not the right size). So I found a Yuudachi !

Anyone else playing the Girls Frontline mobile game? It's like Kancolle with guns.

This is a slightly older build than the current version

Only annoyance is that it is a Chinese game that hasn't been ported to the west (yet), so you'll have to deal with moonrunes and a couple of hoops to aquire it and get it to run properly (I now have a fake Chinese ID and citizen registration number ) http://en.gfwiki.com/wiki/Girls'_Frontline_Wiki has a good tutorial to help annyone interrested get started.
It is quite a bit more involved than just clicking on a mission to send them and get ****ed over by a compass fairy, and so far it is quite fun to play. It is actually not that much like Kancolle gameplay wise, and certainly not a KC rip-off like many other games. The sprites in battle are quite cute as well. Also GF has Japanese Voice Acting for some reason (not that I'm complaining).

I am tempted to direct you to Upotte!! (Manga 2009, anime 2012), which predates this by quite some time. It is kind of like Kancolle in that they reference their reallife counterparts with their characters.

Note that I went in with no prior warning what kind of show this was, so i wasn't prepared when the SAKO Rk 95 showed up to singlehandedly give the show a 17+ rating. The rest is mostly tame-ish fanservice-comedy-action stuff.
