Ravioli ravioli don't lewd the shipgirl loli.

Is Shimakaze a loli though ? She's quite big (in a lot of way).

Guess I'll post some pics myself then :

as for tripple turrets this sparked one piece of curiosity in me.

I mean I have realised I have seen in many cases a "trend" that if a ship have different amounts of barrels per mount the superfiring mounts are those with more barrels.

but since more guns in turret means heavier turret, wouldn't it be better if heavier turret was in lower position and lighter one being higher? for sure would be more stable....

the only "advantage" of such turret layout I can really see would be potentially better firign arcs if superstructure wasn't going into the way of superfirign turret while in most of these the superstructure "behind" lower turret gets into arcs of it, and maybe a bit of sort og ammo handling - more guns means more shells in need to be carried from magazine to the turret and superfiring turrets are indeed closer the the center of the ship......

any thouhgs on the matter?

[i knu it's getting slightly offtopic-ish with this one....]

Sprry, but this one gave me a good chuckle. You are really using the laws of physics to argue for the design of wether a WW2 ship personefied as an anime girl makes sense :D

I think we have long since passed that point. This game was made for one simple reason, Waifu bait. It is also the reason why the girls mainly look like they do, got to attract those Otaku who want to collect/marry them all and thus spend money on rings and ship slots.

Do not question it, just accept it. Down that road lies madness. You will have less of a headache this way. :bajan:

I don't see the issue with searching for historical facts in Kancolle, since this game is already more historical than WoWS.

I LIKE YOU shin.

I'd go even further. Kancolle actually has many, sometimes even obscure, references to historical details in spoken lines and art.

Not to mention the wiki's trivia some of which was completed by yours truly.

no you missed it, the design art of the WW2 imaginary remodel personification reminded me that I have seen similar stuff being deployed in real WW2 ship and am wondering why they did put heavier turret higher above the waterline in so many ships :|

The burn, oh the burn. Then again, can not entirely disagree with you :D

Was just a little joke. But to be honest, I got no idea. I am mostly reading about destroyers and carriers, so battleships is outside my comfort zone in historical facts and basicly leaves me with a blank face.

History channel special "inside the shimakaze" and we all know what was about.

Inside the Shimakaze ? That must have been pretty wet.

Cause... You know. She sank.

I'm sorry. I'll never do that again.

welp tbh not that I think about it I have seen such a scheme mostly in the case of destroyers/cruisersseen one battleship with differign barrle numbers between turret 1 and 2 but if I remember the name right it would seem it actually placed the lighter turret in superfiring position....

first two ships that comes to mind are Błyskawica - in her original gun layout she had twin 120mm turret in superfiring postion over single one on the bow, and yuubari which had twin 14cm turrets superfirign over single ones and ironically sinlges were later replaced with even lighter stuff..... [25mm tripple AA gun mount on the back and 120mm single DP gun on the bow]

but then I suppose that with the way how the mounts were designed you couldn't really move the tiwns down during that refit..... which still leaves the question why twin ones were up in the first place]

Gosh, I finally cleared 2-4. Now I don't have any steel anymore. That map really was a pain, screwing me over and over. Finished it and S-ranked the boss while I was at it with Hiryuu Kai, Akagi Kai, Kongou Kai, Haruna Kai, Yamashiro Kai and Fusou Kai.

Gonna save resources for tryhard crafting Nagamon now.

Btw, I found some amusing crossover today :

2-4 is a  real resource eater but i also dropped Mutsu when i beat the boss.

when i look at the second image i think the scene:

"yuudachi san?....yuudachi san? you remember me?"

"poi?"

(if you watched your name you should recognise the scene)

Nobody knows how old the fleet of fog is, doubt noone has ever said that.

Also here, have an alternate way to you your flightdecks. Not sure if it is against regulations, you be the judge on that one.

zuikaku dose not need a flight deck...she is a deck herself

Spoiler on Arpeggio more or less:

they say that they made a contact with human during the WW2 but maybe only Yamato or Bismarck know what appened.

From what I understood the fleet of fog awoke in 45 when the atomic bombs hit. Could be mistaken.

mhm. In the Anime, the admiralty code is just sort of a set of rules the fog "lives" by.

but in the Manga it's an independant entity with a body and sh!t

they say, the last person to ever see the admiralty code was Bismarck...

but it's just a legend...

the anime of arpeggio was nice..but wasn't about arpeggio

they only let see the admirality code for a moment in the manga: when Haruna rage.

it seems that the Admirality is in Europe (maybe alps?)
