Assuming there's not a time limit on how long the pity is stored for (I'm pretty certain it's stored between banners, which I suppose is one good thing GI does) then it should only be about 20 wishes for me before I get my garanteed 5*.

Sadly Xinyan is matching Amber and Yoimiya when it comes to "pyro disappointment team"

 

Sayu might be a little gem though, both useful as healer and hilarious as beyblade with Kaeya and Xiangling ults spinning around it

Currently my only 5* is Keqing. I got her with the free wishes you obtain while playing.

Is the pity shared between the regular pool and the limited one? Or is the pity seperated between the 2 gacha currency?

I know quite some people being furious with the 5*, but congrats nonetheless. Looks like returning wasn't that bad. Until your next pulls on another banner, not getting anything.

Condolences on pulling Qiqi as your first 5 star

 

And reddit in general developed a habit of creating sections for characters... Including ones merely mentioned by name or by datamined character model.

 

And regarding Yoimiya, when outfitted with fat, Fatui legionnaire tier fat artifacts she seems to be working nicely, but crowds of mobs are her major weakness, due to no AoE and no stagger to slow down closing enemies

Iirc, the pity mechanic is specific to the character banner and not the permanent one.

Either that or they each have their own pity. (I don't think the weapon banner comes with a pity, outside of this new sparking mechanic that wasn't there last time I played)

At the same time, constellations are rarely that useful, especially on initial batch of characters. If anything, 4* characters tend to gain more from them and then those are, usually, easier to obtain.

 

Now get Klee and assemble your own loli squad.

Qiqi still has that "Revive all characters with 50% HP" effect at c6, which is pretty good, but would also require a lot of whaling.

I like Amber too much to consider swapping her out for anyone else. That statement includes Yoimiya, the 5* from the same banner I got Sayu.

If I was to swap anyone from my current party, it would probably be Dionya, just to increase elemental/weapon coverage. But even then, it's a hard sell because Dionya's shields are very nice to have.

Out of two cryo lolis, sadly neither are particularly good cryo applicators so Amber could go for melt headshots

We don't know yet. But Baal weapon is really tempting. Not so much for being BiS on her, as its mediocre weapon for anyone else, but for looks. Though I suppose craftable Inazuma pointy stick could do, especially as I do have 4pc Thundering Fury with 3x EM mainstats laying around, should I go full meme overload with her and Yoimiya.

 

Also electric jelly get, so geo one isn't as lonely anymore... I think?

For the past two hours I have been trying to build an ice bridge from Beidou's pirate ship to Inazuma.

My characters are Qiqi, Chongyun, Kaeya and Anemo traveller (my only other Cryo unit is Dionya, and she is completely useless at bridge building - my only other anemo unit being Sayu, and I have found that her skill doesn't like to pick up ice that it's activated upon, instead gethering the water around that).

The farthest I've gotten is approximately halfway (based on the Statue of The Seven of the northernmost Inazuma Island), but without fail every time I have ed up either the switch to the correct character or failed to time the skill cooldowns correctly.

Now I'm tired, frustrated, and need to get some food.

In case you were wondering, my routine is:

1. Qiqi skill, swap to Chongyun;
2. Wait for 8 swipes of the orb, then Chongyun skill, single-attack three times;
3. Swap to Kaeya, use skill;
4. Swap to traveller, get to end of Kaeya's patch and wait for 1s, then use charged skill;
5. Swap back to Kaeya, use skill;
6. Swap to Chongyung, use skill, single-attack three times;
7. (Repeat steps 3-6)
8. Swap to Qiqi, use skill, swap to Chongyun;
9. (Repeat steps 2-8)

This routine, when timed right, gives just enough time for Kaeya's skill cooldown when swapping to traveller and back, and going through Kaeya->traveller->Kaeya is just enough time for Chongyun's skill cooldown. Doing this routine twice is enough for Qiqi's skill cooldown.

The most important step, and one that I frequently mess up is the 1s wait before using the traveller's skill. I've noticed from doing this routine so many times that the ice from Kaeya's skill actually lasts about twice-to-thrice as long as everyone else, meaning I can (and should) pause for a moment everytime he uses it, just to catch my breath.

Another thing to note is that traveller's non-charged skill does not spread ANY ice, so you must use the charged version, and that their ice lasts the shortest.

I just watched a video of someone doing the "whole" trip using just Kaeya (I didn't realise his ice lasts just long enough for you to be able to use his skill on cooldown).

Yeh, I know now. Looks like I'm going to have to do the AR25 rank up mission afterall. I'll probably wait until after I've completed the Dragonspine quests before I do so, though .

Still, doing the "whole" trip looks like an easy way of geting the "Wrath of the Gods" achievement, so I may still do it just for lols.

And FYI, I'm currently at about 80k exp over what I needed to rank up to AR26, which means I'm likely to experience two WR ups when I clear the mission - hence clearing Dragonspine now while the mobs won't wreck me.

Nah, just wait till you get to the third island of Inazuma. There the farm is really easy at first.

During that cutscene mine was ragdolled three times completely off the screen, for next npc interaction I've switched to Zhongli with full hp build... sadly it was next to cliff, and as geo archon found out, any rock can break if you apply enough velocity to it
