If this event genuinely ends up going the way of Nicoloso, I'm going to have to actually start spending some of my resources just to 100% it.

In other news, and rather well-timed, considering the current collab in AL:

Idol Manager has been released on Steam today!

This is an indie-made management sim game where you take a small idol agency and take them to the big-time. Compared with The Idolm@ster, this game focuses more on the management side, while Im@s focuses on the idols themselves.

I'm looking forward to diving in soon...once I've cleared either AI: The Somnium Files or The Outer Worlds.

I've all new ships of this collab and still farm some points to get some UR BPs for the PR4 ships.

Thankfully other games keep me busy. In Arknights I pulled up to a Pot3 Dusk. (Poor souls who have to go to the 300 pity for her)

 

 

In Genshin, I guess I've reached my current max AR? Since I'm at lvl 45 and the next mission recommends lvl 80 while all my units are below/at 70, I guess I'll have to go on a farming spree.

Maybe I should also start to farm lvl 5 artifacts

But I have enough saved for 300 pulls to get her resume. Thankfully, no wallets nor stockpiled 300 originites were harmed in this banner

Recommended level is just that, recommended, probably designed around mobile players with butter fingers.

 

But at AR45 you should have access to final difficulty in artifact domain, so I suppose you could start enjoying "endgame", that being farming artifacts Thankfully, you can delay at infinitum World Level increase quest until you find yourself ready. I was sitting at AR50 for half a year, when I did the quest out of boredom I've jumped straight into AR56was it worth? No.

 

5 star/gold rarity artifacts are obviously preferred, but I wouldn't dismiss purple ones as long as main and substats are good - after all, gold artifacts are meaningfully better than purples only when upgraded past +16, process that also happens to be on expensive side - cost of getting artifact from +16 to +20 is the same as new artifact from +0 to +16

 

Same with leveling characters - last 10 levels, from 80 to 90, is as expensive as brand new char from 1 to 70. So, "maxing out" characters is basically waifu/husbando mode, as gains in stats no way in hell justify mora/exp book expense

BTW. I tried to sell my Kantai Collection account on few popular portals. I had some very rare characters which made me think that they can be strong selling point. Even for 15 bucks nobody wanted this 

 

 

About actual AL event I see some regularity. Event for which I'm hyped af means 100+ cubes to throw away to get wanted characters. Event for which I'm hyped moderately to say gentle means I get every character from build in first or second roll

I'm at 232 pulls. 4 Dusks, a single Saga and an 6* Oni.

Also about 7-8 Mr. Nothing

 

Some of my orginites were sacrificed, and I might go on to P4 Dusk for the talent increase.

 

But I think the R6 banner might be soon, and thats certainly one time only.

Only what I linked to, being the patch notes. There was something about a "low-energy mode" for auto-farming?

And, not necessarily - I think "mandatory" updates can either be for major overhauls of the game or can simply be a yearly thing (which I think this one is, given the upcoming EN anniversary).

Though the primary goal of 48 M Yen was achieved in only 8 h, apparently thanks to KC players and other ship-enjoyers. Googling 大和旋盤 (Yamato & lathe) will bring some images.

The lathe was imported in 1938 from Germany, and used until 2013.
