Perth and De Ryuter are both cute, but Houston does nothing for me.

In a straight-up comparison, I prefer AL Houston over KC. But then I like genki girls, so that's not a hard win. (AL Houston is also my 3rd- or 4th-highest-levelled CA, so I definitely like her)

Strange thing. Perth on Kai form has only 30 hp. I missed something or she is practically useless due to this in battle and also in expeditions due 30 fuel and 45 ammo  consumption ? Even Tatsuta K2 has 42 hp ( with consumption of 25 fuel and 25 ammo ) Also Perth Kai can reach 62 hp due to hp mod? Look at Wiki. Dafq?

Oh, how I'd love for the rate of drop for red books to increase... You end up with tons of T3 yellow and blue books that you can't use, and always short of red ones...

The issue here is that about 50% of ship skills are red/offensive, 40% are yellow/support, and the remaining 10% are blue/defensive.

Yet the drop rate for each is 33% regardless of source, so it's actually stupidly easy to amass blue books but run dry of red and yellow.

I have a system wherein if red and yellow t3 books run down to less than 10, I will then refuse to use  any t3 books (apart from blue) until my stock of red and yellow t3s exceeds 50.

It's working fairly well, if I do say so myself.

That's what I meant, I said that in a poor manner. The number of red skills compared to their drop rate is just too skewed, you end up unable to level up the skills appropriately.

 

Curiously, though, I have few issues with yellow books, I always have plenty... my red ones hover between a dozen (my minimum before I stop using them) and twenty, but I have around forty T3 yellow ones, and sixty blue ones...
