By all means. So I'm going to play a few maps of the Event mainly to get the points to exchange said blueprints (secondly to sortie with my Ironblood fleets a bit, to grind the Roon's 1M and 2M requirement). Once I get all 30 of them, I'll call it quits.

Make sure you 3-star all stages to get the Team Emblem aux equipment. +35 EVA and +25 hit is pretty damn good, either to give a BB/BC/BBV some extra survivability or as a stand-in for Beaver Badge/washing machine for a CA.

The equipment from the exchange is also decent. +500 HP and +8 spd with the bear, and +24 ASW with the lantern.

When it comes to the ships, there's not much to miss other than the collection aspect.

Shirakami Fubuki is interesting for being a DD which can mount a dive bomber, doesn't seem too useful though. But I guess we'll see once people have maxed her skills.

Tokino Sora could also be interesting depending on how much damage her barrage actually ends up doing. She's a pretty decent CV all things considered.

Personally I think Nakiri Ayame has a cute design. But she's basically a Sakura CA with MGM+1 instead of torps and glass cannon survivability complete with light armor, mediocre health and awful evasion even at lvl120.

All in all a decent event. Sad about losing hard mode stages, but at least it was fast and cheap to clear and 3-star.

Actually good equipment in these collab events is rare and all the standard exchange stuff is always welcome.

That the sub is so good I never imagined,

From the design I like Nakiri and Ookami the most.

I'm missing Ookami and Shion currently.

Also I've retrofitted Warspite, which makes me a very poor man.

Which is it ? WHICH ? Is it the Destroyer ? It's doesn't look like the destroyer. Is that former Celebes ? Not the Java class cancelled Celebes, the Celebes that had its name cancelled, becoming de Ruyter, so that formerly actual De Ruyter got its name replaced to Van Ghent ? Or is it De Zeven Provincien ? Like, former De Zeven Provincien, that was renamed De Ruyter, swapping its name with its sister ? Or the one that was renamed De Zeven Provincien after, giving its former name - De Ruyter - to its sister ? You know, the one that was named Eendracht before. Or was it Kijkduin ? Wait, I think Kijkduin was renamed Eendracht before being renamed. Either way. It's probably Celebes anyway, right ?

Yeah I mean I thought so too, but jesus for how much I like the Dutch using the same name on 4 different vessels... I mean sure reusing old names was extra common and it still is. But 4 within 15 years ? >.<

Anyway, I'm sorry, Dutch vessel names trigger me due to the absurd amount of mistakes I made before memorizing them.

Never thought about that before, could be mighty confusing now that I think about it.

The best I've got is Giuseppe Garibaldi, five ships of the Regia Marina and the Marina Militare all together, but that's from 1860 to this day.

Well, like I said, it's common (I think we're up to the 9th Enterprise now, or maybe 8, not sure). More than half WW2 IJN destroyers reused an older name too.

But there are these special cases designed to make people lose their mind. Like Kamikaze, which was been not only twice a vessel, but also TWICE a class leader, that way you never know which Kamikaze class you're talking about.

Dutch names in interwar and WWII are a mess, the pinnacle being the legendary De Zeven Provincien class, where Kijkduin, Eendracht, De Ruyter, De Zeven Pronvincien (and if you count foreign renames and design designation, Kruiser 1939, KH2 and Aguirre) are all the SAME VESSEL. BUT ! De Zeven Provincien aka de Ruyter, known abroad as KH1 or Almirante Grau, designated Kruiser 1938, is ANOTHER vessel. Because yes the sisters swapped names.

Because of that, nobody really knows wether we should call the class De Zeven Provincien or De Ruyter. So some people decided to call it Eendracht. And to piss them off I call it Kijkduin so no-one gets which vessel I'm talking about.

The actual De Ruyter class, which only contains the De Ruyter, isn't much better, since it was meant to be called Celebes, which was a name meant for the 3rd cruiser of the Java class, which had been cancelled. But the name was cancelled again and they decided to call the ship De Ruyter, but De Ruyter was already the name of the 1st Admiralen class destroyer. So they took the name anyway and renamed the destroyer.

In total, 4 vessels have carried the name De Ruyter within prior 1933/1950 and beyond

I've seen a bunch of naming madness but the Dutch take the cake >.< Anyway, I'm gonna flood the topic again with useless historical facts if I go on, so I'll stop there, if I don't I'm gonna start talking about italian names and why having many different ultra-long names isn't better and in the end it'll be unreadable.

Spoiler

Luigi di Savoia Duca Degli Abruzzi ?
Commandanti Medaglie d'Oro ?

JESUS ITALY ! I have to enlarge ALL the columns of my spreadsheets JUST because of you >.<

Now that I reflect upon this, I kind of feel that way when I read something about a "King George V-class", and I ask myself whether they talk about the WWI superdreadnoughts, or about the ones we know better. All because that horny bugger thought with his peter rather than his head, and therefore told the Navy to reuse that bloody name!

To be fair, "Comandanti Medaglie d'Oro" was the class name, the ships would have been called otherwise, even though the length wouldn't have been much better. Stuff such as "Comandante Margottini", or "Comandante Toscano". :Smile-_tongue:

Perth looks so sweet, she resembles me for a little AL Leander which means  instant like. Unfortunately she didn't have white/light grey and black motifs coming from last camouflage :Smile_sceptic: De Ruyter is also nice -  looks sweet and green motif of clothing as green camouflage which she weared in 1942? Houston? We got problem. Her face is definitely not the best but it's only my opinion.

I'm very interested how usefull will be Shinshu Maru. 4 slots in Kai form but nothing more I get about her so far but I didn't expect new Nisshin.

E-1M cleared. Easy map. Nothing interesting dropped.

You forgot:

Spoiler

Shinshu Maru

latest?cb=20191130035505

Very cute imo.

Houston looks... slightly off in her normal CG. Not exactly sure why tho.

Perth's rigging is a bit underwhelming imo.

I'll start tackling the event tonight.

Right. I have the unfortunate tendency to skip over ships that are not first-line combatants. Unforgivable, I know. :Smile_hiding:

Cleared both E-1H and E-2H. Only one significant drop:

HF/DF ASDIC that E-2H gives is amazing, other rewards don't seem to be worth mentioning.

E-3 cleared. Perth was my main aim due to one book which I read as teenager but luckly first time I get 100% of which I want:

Their stats didn't seems to be impressive, I hope at least for nice personality for Perth. In that book which I read many years ago it was that last commander of Perth started to laugh when first from four torpedos hit his ship ( he was dead few minutes later )

Recently put Azuma on my Shokaku in an effort to become more weeb.

Haven't noticed before as I never used her in AL, but she has the voice of an angel. :fish_cute_2:

E-4 cleared - tbh I had no real time or desire to try higher difficulty especially when Easy rewards are just very poor and on medium I expect problems bigger than one gun for HMAS Perth is worth. I just literally murdered this map with 3 tries for P1 and 6/6 S-Ranks for P2 without caring about debuff. PvP weekly shame fleet is partially ready. In next weekend I will probably try to farm for Houston.

All Hail Emperor Palpatine (female variant) !!!
