No, that's the countdown for preordering the US PS4 Limited Edition version.

The EU limited edition will be on sale on IFI's store page sometime in the new year.

The release date is still sometime in Q1/Q2 2020.

Maybe I shouldn't have put so much emphasis on that...

My overall point was that the Limited Run Games page is specifically for the US Special Edition, and it's not necessary to buy that one as the EU Special Edition will be available in a few months.

Regardless of which version you get, the localised version of the game isn't coming out until next year.

In all my collection of PS3/PS4 games, I can think of only one that was region-locked (Persona 4 Arena) which was an exception rather than the rule. Actually, that particular region locked game pissed off the fanbase so badly (with it just generally being mismanaged, especially the EU version) that they chose not to region-lock the sequel (Persona 4 Arena Ultimax). I also have several Japanese games in my collection for PSP/PS3/PS4 that I have played on my EU PSP/PS3/PS4.

Having said that, DLC is region-locked to the PS Store of the region you bought the game from. For example, I cannot purchase the DLC for my copies of Dragon's Crown and Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match on my EU PS Store account, on account of them being US and AS (non-Japan/China Asian) versions respectively.

I've come to assume it stands for "Advanced Armament" as opposed to "Anti-Air", because otherwise it doesn't make much sense.

 

You'd probably want to plump for the 'powered steering' equipment to maximise her tankiness, alongside the toolkit.

I am aware, I was trying to be more specific than just "evasion enhancing gear" as it's a simple fact the hydraulic/powered steering is the best of the bunch.

And as soon as I typed that I remembered the Beaver Badge, which is also very good, but more limited than the hydraulic/powered steering (in the sense you can only get one of them).

I'm in the same boat.

I'm just getting all of the useful consumables and not paying it any more attention. I've already stopped playing event stages since getting the medal (I wasn't strong enough to get it on my first run of the event).

Now I just want U-47 to drop. I've managed to get the two I missed last time (Doitsuland and Shiro) and U-557 is a point reward so I have no issue with her, it's just the lone wolf sub giving me trouble this time.

Oh and dropping even one copy of Zeppelin gave me flashbacks to the first run of the event...

If you have the time, getting the oil and reinvesting it into event stage runs is a solid choice. Especially if you run something like D1 for quad acoustic torp BPs.

The Swordfish ASW plane is also top of the line gear even if its application is limited. If nothing else it will be perfect to equip Warspite with when we finally get her retro.

Naval Curry is nice if you don't wanna spend oil on food.

Cognitive chips if you don't already have a ton of them.

Swordfish is a great ASW plane as it does the most damage (but personally I prefer the TBM-3's as they have more splash).

ME-155A for GZ if you use her and don't already have one.

If all else fails extra oil is always welcome. You may not need it now but maybe later.

I'm up to 14 blueprints out of 25 for her gun, seems it will take me a while. For now I'll use the Japanese twin upgraded to max.

For torpedo I chose the golden quad homing.

Since I just got it in the research, she got the Bofors STAAG.

No problemo for the toolkit; for the "powered steering", do you mean this? If it's that one, I'm as close as with the guns, unfortunately.

Which is also why Isuzu is such an AA monster. She pushes the 113mm to 921 damage.

Don't forget Isuzu have +1 AA gun, so she applies 921dmg twice. So when it comes to AA, she hits like a truck
