Then do the math, or mount autoloader(s) and see if they change anything. For Arizona you might be better off with rapid reloading gun, purple BB 283, or gold 381 if you don't want to completely negate PTSDbote damage output

Even "secondaryless" ships have *something* doing the work, easily seen when you put AP main gun and yet, yellow/orange projectiles are coming out.

@Zemeritt I think I read somewhere that this is another feature of the IB cruisers that makes grinding Roon such a pain - they have secondaries, but they are AP and small caliber, making them pretty bad for damage-dealing.

Well, not that that matters to me anymore as I got Roon just a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, Jintsuu still hasn't dropped and thus I don't want to properly start the grind for Ibuki for a little while...

...Actually I've been thinking that I'll probably wait on Ibuki until Yuubari gets her retrofit in EN. It would be way more fun to grind just to watch some of the random stuff she pulls out of her behind.

I'd say it comes from them having mediocre stats across the board, as even on USN ships, where you can upgrade secondary, damage from it is pitful. On anything else its screen blot basically

Finally committed to pushing through W13.

Instant regret because W13 is pure . If it is ever announced for EN, for the love of god stack up on AA asap. Also avoid tier 3 CV nodes, they spawn so many planes they'll pretty much instantly kill your backline.

So, the Graf Spee rerun gives me the excuse to burn through some of the 2M exp challenge for Saint Louis.

Plus, I heard that she helps a bit when you gun for Roon, and I have half a mind, once I'm done with her holiness the cruiser templar, to go for her... I heard she rocks, even though she burns a ton of oil.

The alternative would be the Monarch, but I think I need a good, strong vanguard ship more.

Both Saint Louis and Roon aren't going to be cheap as gold PR heavy cruisers. And Roon with her shields and stacking reload buff is boss fleet material, while Saint is more for mob clearing with her early battle buff.

 

And so far, Ibuki seems to be best pick of PR vanguards in my book due to having nuke tier torps on CA hull, while Roon/Saint can be partially replaced with Mogami retro, Baltimore or even Portland retro.

Especially when you team her up with Nagato and couple of other IJ....Sakura ships, you can have with her very good comps. for bosses.

tbh. Oil was never a problem you have way then enough sources to get it atm. i am on 23k and i does not get any lower and i am still grinding every day 10-4 for Jintsuu.

Yes. The blue one is Yamato as we know. No red-striped Musashi, so that makes the two new ones Shinano and Warship No. 111 (the fourth Yamato that never got built). Yellow stripes is the identifcation stripes of East Maizuru High, who also owned the sub that attacked Harekaze.

 

Also one of the destroyers next to Hiei is Harekaze (well, Okikaze kai or something I guess). Interesting to see she keeps the German 150mm like at the end of the OVA. In real world terms I dunno how useful that'd be to a destroyer, but I suppose she needs to be unique.

Now that I think about it, the French have quite a number of ships named after privateers (Jean Bart, Surcouf) or admirals who got their fame in tropical seas (Suffren, Dupleix). Meanwhile, the Italians had it going on with explorers (don't let me get started with all the Navigatori...).

Which is a better pick? Tropical pirate/commander or exploring seafarer?

I don't blame you. That's USS Bunker Hill. She drops in world 13 which isn't out on EN yet and she doesn't seem to be very popular with artists either.

Sure wonder why. I like her design.
