Ok... after capitulating and burning 2000 points in the exchange to get Cavour (I'm weak, I know that, but it was intolerable to me for the day to pass without a single Sardegnian ship in my dock!), I lucked out twice and got Cesare and Littorio!

I admit, I'm kind of intrigued by this "villain" perspective, it's not usually used for Italy... this active plotting to pull a fast one on Her Majesty is kind of badass.

Speaking of which, it may be a bit too much, but Littorio being a totally arrogant SOB is interesting as well.

 

And since I'm in a good mood, I won't protest against the rather unfortunate dialogue that seems to imply that a carrier could hope to take a battleship's salvo and not get pounded into oblivion by that.

Besides, thank admiral Halsey for that one, but in any normal situation any commander who leaves a carrier (even a "strong, armoured one") against a battleship in a surface engagement would deserve only the court martial. But it seems that in AL a carrier can launch an air attack even when it's under gunfire...

Littorio x Illustrous is OTP though.

Meanwhile, got Littorio, 2x Formidable, 2x Giulio and Zara. Can't complain. Working on getting the others now through exchange. These ships have interesting skills, which I wonder what they'll be like in battle in terms of effectiveness. Though, Zara's skill seems awfully familiar...
