First is Legend of Zelda (obviously) andthe second is Fire Emblem.

 

If you like it's playstyle, it's an amazing game (Even if the stories have been lame lately)

 

After FE14 I also said it wouldn't be hyped again. Looks like I failed.

Forgive me, but i geniunely don't play nintendo titles (its not that i dont like them i just literally lack the money to buy anything nintendo related, since im trying to build my own gaming pc for well gaming and also 3d modelling, digital graphics.)

 

is FE similar to Final Fantasy at all? or does it do things differently?

 

and im guessing theres no new wii units after the wii u? soooo im guessing the switch is what i need to get to play new nintendo games.

It's a turn based strategy game. Specific settings change from game´to game but the basic concept is the same.

I'd advice to watch a few vids on YT, since it's easier that way. Explaining it could be difficult.

FE does things VERY differently to FF (at least, compared with the mainline games, if you've played FF Tactics it's more similar to that, but more in-depth).

If you have time, try watching this:

It's a couple years old (and VERY long), but this covers all the games up to FE: Awakening (I forget if it includes FE: Fates).

 

Yeah, the current Nintendo console is the Switch.

Dunno people i used to hang out with were pretty critical about what you did or didn't (hense why i am so touchy about asking things).

Most games are not connected lorewise.

Fe1 and 3 have the same Lord (Marth). Fe 2 plays on a second continent nex to the continent of Fe1/3.

FE4 and 5 are also connected, but Fe5 plays in between the timeskip of FE 4.

FE7 is the prequel of FE6. FE 8 is a standalone. Fe 9 and 10 play on another continent, but is a complete story, even with some bigger plot holes.

FE 11 and FE12 are remakes/works of FE1 and FE3 respectively.

FE 13 plays in the same world as FE1,2 and 3, but thousands of years in the future.

FE 14 is again a standalone, but have 3 "routes".

FE Shadows of Valentia is a remake/work of the second game.

Good. Cag is easily one of my most favourite characters for what she is. GBF has many great characters, but Cagliostro to me is just the best concept I found and that alone gave Cag a spot in my dark team despite being kinda counter to the meta back when I played. Thankfully I now managed to finally build a Shadowverse deck that can make great use of Cag. Funnily enough with Cagliostro there'd something I found already with Kancolle, in that I do have characters I love for waifu value (Arashio) and some other that become second favourite because they have a character that I can empathise with (Kasumi).

 

And yes, I get the statement. Overall, to me, potatoes are potatoes. Often useful, Kinda nice, but at some point nothing I get too excited about.
