As such, the simple fact I can finally add her to my port, set her as secretary, change skins and even retrofit her to see more of Ooyari-sensei's beautiful artwork is a blessing to me.

Just on the sidelines, I find it weird how everytime I see artwork of Swiftsure, there'll be comments comparing to Monika and Springfield. Which reminds me of how people kept posting Springfield in r/DDLC , because you know, they didn't know any better and you gotta admit, at least they have a similar colour palette. But Swiftsure doesn't, so what gives? Like, yes, she has a ponytail, but her eyes are red, the others were goddamn green...

I'm on third as well, but the most frustrating thing I'm finding is that I picked two battlecruisers and one BBV for grinding Izumo, which means I cannot use my actual comp for any of the Iris event hard maps (at least, not D2, the one I'm grinding for 138mm main gun blueprints). I've had to sub in DoY instead of Amagi, despite the decreased EXP efficiency this gives (I know it would've made more sense to sub DoY in for Hiei-chan but I didn't because 1: Hiei-chan is cuter than Amagi, 2: Hiei-chan is the only one of the three not yet at level 100, and 3: because the ship restrictions means I can't use my highest-level IJN front row ships to get the maximum benefit from Amagi's buffs - which are all DDs).

Honestly, this event is just reminding me how frustrated I was to not get Nagato from the Ink-Stained Steel Sakura event (I have Mutsu, but I'm not wasting time I could be using grinding the event to get her up from lvl20 to minimum lvl80 to take on the hard mode maps - not to mention spending time and skill books to actually level up her barrage).

Why not go all out with 3 BBV? 

Hyuuga Kai is a staple and then just add Ise Kai and Yamashiro/Fuso Kai. Having 3 screen clears is not to be taken lightly.

 

Personally I'm doing the Ibuki grind at the moment with Furutaka Kai, Kako Kai and Abukuma Kai, with Nagato supporting. If I didn't also want to level up Nagato I'd probably go with Hyuuga Kai instead for the oil economy.

Actually, back liners is something I have in abundance for leveling - Fuso, Ise, Nagato, Kongo twins, 9 ships total is about the same level +-70. UK backline also waits with QE, Warspite, PoW and KGV.

 

I guess I'll put Roon on hold, because Kinkyberg sisters are still at 50odd level and might not be able to handle C/D maps.
