Kai Ni Akagi i definitely see the point of the remodelling. 5 Slots is pretty damn handy, be it for making her Fast+ or... for making her a CVN by slapping the Night Operation Combat Personel on the last slot. Or even a goddamn SCAMP.

But you need to 

A) have those equipments/expansion slot

B) Spend a huge amount of ressource when you can just BP+FlightDeck Saratoga.

 

Anyway I won't remodel her anytime soon. I seriously hope Saratoga will be a drop later in the event since I'm tired of failing LSC for her already. Same for Musashi.

 

I didn't start E2 yet. I'll start this week-end. I can run an almost complete historical fleet tho so I think in Normal mode I'll be okay.

My boss kill fleet will be something like Isokaze (98) Hamakaze (75) Suzutsuki (60+) Yukikaze (57) Yamato (115) plus a random strong DD (most probably Kagerou Kai Ni (77)). I COULD use Yahagi but I don't think it's worth it when it means you have to pass a third airnode when you bring a CL...

Not much bigger than Murasame Kai Ni and probably less than Hamakaze either.

Anyway, E2 medium done. No way I was gonna do it on hard. That Reppu can't be worth all this salt.

And the game casually reminded me I don't even have Yamato yet. Completely slipped my mind tbh. Not sure whether I'll return here to farm for her. Attempting LSC is probably going to result in a lot less salt production.

Well, any 5 slot ship is instant RE mount due to usefullness of 6 slots so it's not a problem. Akagi K2/K2E is Fast so it can open way to many funny things in 4-5...  Best thing about Akagi K2/K2E is that K2 is better CVN than her CVN form due to slots distribution. Tanaka logic!

They make hype train in size of TGV and Shinkansen for Akagi K2 and when she comes out, she is nothing meta breaking, rather victim of powercreep of price in K2 remodels.

 

 

My Blueprint queue is rather long Yura, Kinu, Naganami, Hyuuga, Shinyou, Fusou, Yamashiro and Mutsu as most important, anyway they have various usefullness and various priority but luckly from Yura, Naganami and Mutsu nothing is now very important. If only Akagi K2 had any quests for planes, Akagi has so many famous airmans, Tanaka could give her at least one interesting named squadron.

 

Personally from LSC ships I need only Saratoga, Yamato and I-401, but if Saratoga will be farmable similar as Yamato in E-2 I will rather play roulette in LSC than enter this horror again,

I think sun is on right position, just top UI gray overlay highlights clouds, giving impression of sun doesn't computing with horizon

No idea what is going on, but I literally can't get a kill on LD E3 boss.

Tashkent especially seems to always deal pitiful scratch damage to her (I've never seen her crit, highest damage dealt so far is like 20), leaving her with like 20-30 HP left every time. Equipped everyone with anti installation gear too AND have started using support shelling.

And I'm playing on easy.

 

This RNG is getting ridiculous.

I hope You do not use any Daihatsu which are useless against boss (only tanks, Type 3 Shell, WG42 and Daihatsu with tanks can do damage boss ) It is interesting that few other people from which I speak have also problem with E-3 LD. I hate anti instalation fight due to too much RNG involved in it. Normal battle has RNG but anti installation fight is even worse.

Musashi K2 today reached max normal level

Normally I reject very much spending any money on this option in KC, because one waifu policy and but I have strong problem with her and only with her. She is just so expensive to use. When she is just so powerful and useful, when she just drop nukes on enemy units but in the same time she is just so extremely expensive, she eats so enormous ammount of recources which forces me to start considerate buying ring for her. Normally she uses 275 fuel and 350 ammo what means that single sortie her uses same amount of recources as good expedition brings with few hours. If I will use PPCI (PayPal Cut-In) she will be eats  234 fuel and  298 ammo which means savings of 41 fuel and 52 fuel which is similar to full usege of recources of single CA., also she will have 9 more HP. What is most difficult to me I'm not even like her, so it's for pure stats. What to do?

Apparently all previously released USN ships drop. Gamby, Johnston and Rush B in E4. Sara in E5. Haven't seen Iowa drop yet but she's marked as a drop on the wiki, I reckon she's gonna drop in E5 as well.

The Yuugumo class was planned as the Akigumo class, however, she was finished to kagero specifications and thus became the last member of the Kagero class, despite having been named according to Yuugumo conventions.
That, including the fact that Kagero and Yuugumo are basically impossible to tell apart with an untrained eye, caused great confusion both during and after the war regarding what class Akigumo was actually in. They're just toying with the confusion~

I see, interesting. I also read it was something to do with all those fake destroyers that the IJN "ordered" to cover up the costs of the Yamato class, and for a while it was confusing how many were made up this way.

I wonder if this is connected. The Kagero dummies were ordered under Maru 3, DD 32-34 at the "end" of the first kagero batch, while Akigumo was ordered as part of Maru 4, along with kagero-class Arashi, Hagikaze and Maikaze, and the whole Yuugumo class first batch, incluidng the two additional dummies which once again were placed at the end of the order in term of numbers (DD128-129).

The confusion arises probably because Maru 4 ordered no "Kagero" or "Yuugumo" class, but rather "Type A destroyers", a supertype which would comprise both classes. The reason which caused Akigumo to be delayed to the point of being laid after Yuugumo and finished to the previous design might still remain obscure, but if you want my opinion, it's more a question of dates and the fact that Yuugumo and Kagero were not always differenciated in official documents.
