Nope. We might get Zeppy added in future to help with the whole 'no Ironblood backrow' ships problem, but FdG is still a loooong ways off needing to be worried about.

I'm about 63% through the second 2mil grind for Monarch (so, 740k left) and it's literally the last bit of my grind. I just want this finished already!

There's someone on Reddit (who's a bit of a [edited], tbh) who's complaining about the time gate on getting Neptune. He's done everything apart from the 20k coin and 5cubes, which are still gated off from him. I really wish I knew how he was able to grind 3mil so easily, but I don't want to ask as the guy's insufferable.

Might be a whale buying oil. ANs since the RN has alot of cruisers, I can see him going 24/7 on th EXP.

With the 2nd floor of the dorm, you can also buff the EXP-gain of 10 ships.

In other news, apparently AL JP has been streaming a whole buncha stuff about the upcoming Biscuits event.

It is based on the Battle of Denmark Strait, and will feature KGV, Biscuits and more (including a sub, from the looks of things).

Oh, and Biscuits is going to be in Azur Lane Crosswave for PS4.

I'm just using many of the common ships (in US case the Omahas) to farm on 6-1, which also drops some gold SG blueprints.

Since the ships are rather cheap in oil cost, all it takes is alot of time

I was grinding 6-4, trying to get Poi, but I got bored and now I'm trying 9-3 for Nicholas (and hoping for extra EXP).

I would use cheap ships, but I wanted to maximise the level possible to be played, which would require QE with two other strong RN BBs/BCs (not Monitors). I'm running Phoenix as vanguard, for self-heal only (I'm well aware she doesn't gel with RN fleet).

The only thing I'm excited about is Monarch getting 1.9 sigma. Soon the time will come for Monarch to be a force to be feared like AL Monarch. I cannot wait for my Monarch to be even better.

 

Oh, also, obligatory excitement for Poi getting less garbage torps, before my clan puts me in front of the firing squad.

 

But yeah, very excited about Monarch being strong in both games soon. She's already such a beauty.

If you're going by a "need" requirement then I can see how the game could get boring. At the end of the day it's a collecting game more than it is a skill-based shoot-em-up/bullet hell.

I do appreciate that the PR ship grind has incentivized using less commonly used ships. Currently running Spee, Deutch and Karl Kai to grind for Roon, and I probably wouldn't have used them much otherwise. Just finished refitting Furutaka (girl gets thicc ) and leveling Kako as well for when I start the Ibuki grind.

Need, want, same reason to play. And I've got waaay more boatgirls than I can actually keep up leveling, including FurryKakoNachos team for Ibuki. And then getting up Honkyourlulu to match her sisters at lvl 100ish is... daunting. And that includes stuffing her, Atago and whatever oddboat is around full of curry in Dorm.

 

That and pile of SSRs stuck at 90lvl or so simply due to Purin shortage technically I can up foxes and cranes to max lb with what I have now, but not sure if these purins aren't better served for Nagato/Wankspite/Takao/Atago. And then Lusty twins want their attention too, with Sirius and Yucky peeking through the window...
