I've picked her already. Not fond of her art (wtf that fishnet on her head), but 2MGM is going to be handy on not so fast firing CA. Then maybe Ibuki, just file off her horns

 

So Atlantas and Brooklyns get their share of fun. Tried Orlean trio, but no LB and barely legal leveled up and so their damage output is... speschul

I decided to go for Monarch first, then I'll go for Neptune. More just so I have excuses to play RN ships for a change.

I've converted one of my main low-cost farming fleets into one with QE/DoY/Hood backline for the experience requirement.

 

I'm not overly bothered with OPness, I just want to get the ball rolling on unlocking them. Gonna do Loon last, just so I have time to upgrade some IB cruiser skills first (I'm thinking PE/Leipzig/Karlsruhe should work, right?).

No, actually the second EXP grind requires the first to be completed ahead of time.

So, you're basically grinding 3M EXP.

Not that big of a deal, as I can finally get around to bringing ships to 100lvl. Mogami twins and Takao will see some action besides commisions, maybe I'll get FurryKako as some lowcost something. And IIRC they have REEEtrofits as well.

 

Though I dunno wat do with Ranger, Longie and Bogue. Former is obsoleted by carriers proper, even when retro'd, latter are too glass to use and lack Shoho/Unicorn healing

RNGer is most definitely NOT obsolete. Her cooldown reset skill can trigger off of an airstrike that was already cooled down by the same skill, giving her the potential of infinite damage (coupled with her other skill that doubles airstrike damage). She has the potential of being the most powerful CVL in the game (and is really efficient due to her Normal-rarity oil cost, even when retro'd).

Bogue is really good at ASW, but her sister (HMS Chaser) is better because of her skill (but you can only get Chaser from the Winter's Crown event).

Mogami retro is really good. Furutaka retro and Kako retro are serviceable (but then, you only really want to retro them for the "asset" upgrade).

Still, RNGer is tad too fragile for low cost mid-high map fleet. I don't quite play sub part of the game, simply because I can't get arsed to grind another set of ASW gear. Also Chaser fed to the grinder because back then Subs were long unknown "when" for EN, also why another Bogue

 

Oh well, I guess remaining gems will go for port expansion. Still, for a complete f2p expanding Dorm to 5, 3rd seat in Classroom and still having 1.1k gems in reserve isn't that bad for mobile game

Anyway, in all seriousness I'm probably not going to be jumping ship (ha!) to a Touhou-themed F2P game until it is available in Eigo (English [Language] in Japanese).

And given all of the trailers on Youtube for said Touhou Cannonball appear to be region-locked, I don't think we'll be getting it in the west anytime soon.

After basically leveling all Shiratsuyu with K2, now I want them to add more Kagerou Kai Ni. I just love their recent design. Even if they cost a BP every single time for the combat one, having that new Kagerou/Nuinui/Kuroshio CG is 100% worth. T_T

I got Kagerou to Kai Ni already, I need to redrop a Kuroshio to level her (yeah I usually just removed them before as she had nothing special worth keeping, shame on me), but I want moar good design. 

 

Anyway I stopped playing a bit lately as I am waiting for the event, but I powerleveled my fleet like crazy since last event and especially my combat DD. I leveled Asashio (to Kai Ni D), Kagerou, Kazagumo, Suzutsuki, Johnston, Tanikaze, Shiratsuyu, Shoukaku (finally got the protopult with the new quest), Nisshin, and I'm pretty close to Kai Ni for both Yuugumo and Naganami as well. Also i got more bucket than ever (490 atm, I did last even with 250 lol) and more resources that I ever had.

 

 

My devmats are dead tho. Most of those remodel costed me 15 to 80 devmats each, I have 25 lefts, and I now need 300 for Kongou Kai Ni C... This is insane.

Aww...I don't have a coupon...

If I had a coupon for 30% I'd just buy the full bundle right now, rather than trying to work out which is the most cost-effective option given that I'm also looking at purchasing Kaga as a captain trainer for my IJN CVs.

For the new battleship artist, shouldn't we expect Bob ? He did cruisers, AV and CVL but never BBs afaik. Shibafu did the Ise so it's not him.
