San Diego is only available in the collection.

Also AL port is best port not because it is weeb but because IT RUNS SO SMOOTH.

No really, most port UI problems seem to be gone. Transitioning between anything inside it is suddenly smooth as :etc_swear: without any stutters.

Yea, noticed something was off too, but couldn't quite put finger on it. Although switching tech trees or trying to set up Training Room takes its time.

It has no water to animate.

Or simulate depending on what method they use. animating water can be done via noise modifiers then just creating a few key frames, and a plane consisting of maybe 100x100 ploy's.

 

judging by the stuttering this means that the water is simulated rather than animated and probably using far more poly's and particules, plus shaders, normal maps, diffuse maps etc.

 

i don't know what software they use to animate and/or simulate such things but the above can be done in 3ds max and blender.

Which reminds me of some ancient devblog article when WoWs was in alfa or early beta - on one of the maps there was sudden frame loss out of blue. Upon thorough investigation, in one of the houses on the island author added bathtub. With a duck. Having polygon count stretching into millions.:Smile_smile:

Lmao, similar situation has happend in my animation project where one of the guys who made sylvannas model (even though i wanted human witch) when all the sub-objects where connected and turbosmooth turned on stretch to 1,8mil polys.

 

Lol good luck animating and rendering that if your computer doesn't cause a nuclear meltdown first.

Had... some experience with blender and unity when tinkering with avatar for VRChat. Took me awhile to get bones right, especially as I had to map all the fingers only to realize I can't even test that without VR set:Smile_smile: also no success of getting walking animation right, or rather default walking anim doesn't quite fit Tactical Dreadnought Armor and no knowledge how to change it

I dunno about rigging in blender but 3ds max's cat rig system is great you can make custom rigs and then just skin them to the model, if anything is or theres too much 'bending' in the model you can just change the weights on the vertices.

 

Might do some blender rigging over the summer to see which system is better or easier etc.

 

Wish i had a headset for vrchat lol. reminds me of a vid series i used to watch.

Model I've looted for conversion had nothing in the way of even basic rigging IIRC, so that was... rather ambitious of me. But hey, it mostly worked, without crash and even joints worked despite wonky walking anim, so character kept stabbing himself with minigun assault cannon to the leg.

Well i guess i won't bother with the leander, i hate the ship with a passion, consistently losing games and damage output is inconsistent as hell especially when higher tiers are concerned.

 

ill just make my way up the RNBB line for now, not even going to bother with destroyers, due to the current meta.

RN DDs are actually  in a pretty decent spot when it comes to handling CVs since they have such low downtime on their smoke.

On the other side of the spectrum are the KM DDs. :Smile_sad:

Leander is solid in T6 Ops though. And lead to Fiji.

Slow, fat, crap smoke, most often crap for AA. Yeah. I need to do some testing tomorrow or so, to see what a friend reported that he took some hefty damage from AP bombs.

How the hell do i do well in it? I just dont it being another QE where my rate is below 45% but the rest stats are ok-good.

oh speaking of balans the obj 430’s got their nerfs cancelled and the new obj 777 version 2 might be a free exp tank (the first of its kind in world of tanks) or a frontline reward.

got offered some smoll boats by the king of dots, he doesn't like enterprise that much (seems sick and tired of her bombing him or whatever that catchphrase is). he might move on to other games because playing in his asashio is not fun anymore (mind you playing dd's in this meta is horrible too be honest, unless non -cv game)

The only meh ship of the bunch. Has amazing stats but her barrage is meh and her skill is practically worthless (takes more fire damage, less AP damage). If she had an useful skill she'd be top tier pretty easily.

Definitely usable but there are far better options.

 

- Monarch:

Perhaps the best mob clearing BB in the game due to her wide spread barrage. Barrage is AP but easily kills light armored targets as well. Reload gets faster the less HP she has. Has a self heal that kicks in at 20% HP which heals 12% total.

Downside are meh AA and her barrage not being suitable for killing bosses due to the wide spread.

 

- Neptune:

Edinburgh but stronger. Literally. If you run Belfast / Leander / Edin prepare to replace Edin with Nepnep. Same self AP buff but stronger, barrage that hits like a truck and gets a Phoenix-like resurrection skill on top that grants her extra reload until the end of the battle.

Downside is that she only has MGM1. That's pretty much it.

 

- Saint Louis:

Say hi to the most broken frontliner currently in the game. BB level tankiness, BB level firepower, DD level evasion, MGM2 and generally amazing stats. There is literally nothing she can't do. Gets 35% extra HE damage that rips everything apart and another 35% eva boost for 40 seconds on battle start.

The only downside you could even remotely complain about is that her torps are fairly meh. Saint Louis is a must have and thanks to requiring US cruisers to grind she's easy to get too.

 

- Roon:

Contender for second most broken frontliner currently in the game. Tanks a bit less than Saint Louis despite having more HP but potentially deals even more damage provided the battle goes on for a bit. Skill makes her switch between AP and HE every second salvo along with 3.5% extra reload every time she fires (stacks up to 12 times). Second skill gives her 4 shields which can be nice.

Downside is that she is a pain in the :etc_swear: to farm. KM cruisers are meh across the board. And she needs a bit to really get going but she is still amazing even with 0 reload stacks.

 

- Ibuki

Kinda Ayanami but as a CA. Designed as torp nuker. Will actually outdamage Ayanami if the latter is unbuffed. Is pretty tanky by herself and has decent firepower outside of her torps as well. Gets 2 torp reloads at the start of a match which can be extremely topkek.

Problem is being a torp nuker is often wasted if you auto battle. She also doesn't benefit from any of the torpedo buffs by virtue of being a CA. 2nd skill gives her a low proc torp barrage which is very meh.

Still if you're looking to nuke something with torps and can't bring DDs or their buffing teammates, Ibuki will do the job and then some.

So PR ships made it to EN... and I can't decide which one to start with:cap_book:
