I can forgive that bundle since it's the "all-inclusive" one (with two tier 8 premium ships, 15 commanders and some bloat).

 

The bundle with just the new commanders (excl. Azuma) on the other hand I can't believe they are charging half the price of that massive bundle.

78€ for 7 x 10-point commanders. Like wtf?! When you get 15 commanders AND two tier 8 premiums for 157€.

The containers aren't even a decent deal. One random new commander for 7-8.5€ with no protection against getting duplicates.

Last collab I individually got Hipper and Cleveland and that was more than enough for me... That was cheap and I got what I wanted.

 

Here if I want to get Dunkerque and Prinz only I need to gamble to get commander that doesn't interest me or pay an overpriced 80€ package. Seriously, what ?

Something like 60. Imo, the current second wave commander bundle isn't really outrageous, it's in line with the earlier bundles and pricing of single commanders. It just pales in value compared to Armada pack, which for what you'd usually pay is a pretty good deal. I expected as much but without first wave commanders.

 

What is a bit sad is the inability to buy single commanders. That's a real bummer and kinda the big let-down of this event.

 

Voiceovers I heard so far (Montpelier, Yukikaze, Atago) are quality-wise pretty nice and the two ships... well, they are what you expect. Montpelier is a Cleveland, very slightly worse, but that's not a big issue for one of the strongest T8 cruisers. Ran into a Cleveland (with AL camo, got my compliment) but still outgunned him, as positioning just is so much more important.Yukikaze is a meme Kagero. Still more versatile than Asashio. Deleted a Z-46 that thought it could rush me with hydro. Worth it. The camos of the two ships also are a job well-done.

 

The port is confusing. What game am I playing again?

 

Overall, this is a nice one for whales, while people who don't go for a bundle or who literally don't care whom they get are a good lot worse off. They should have sold commanders also on their own.

 

Lastly, collection gives free Azuma with 10 points, but subcategories give all the faction flags of Azur Lane. Even minor ones. So, if you want the Eastern Radiance flag on Anshan, here you go.

Yeoooooowwwwwwch. Considering I already have half of those commanders, £141 is a bit steep.

Let's see, Second Wave pack is £70, while base Yukikaze/Montpelier are near enough £35 each. So if I want the same thing but skipping the commanders I already have (and missing out on package bonuses) it'll cost me almost exactly the same amount...

Welp, guess I'll be waiting for payday and splurging out for waifus then.

While @LastButterfly is not exactly incorrect, it is a bit more nuanced and requires a little bit of knowledge how Japanese works to understand what 'nanoda' means.

As such, I will be explaining it in a spoiler so you can skip if you don't care.

'Nanoda' is less of a word, and more of a way of saying something that shows others how you think of yourself. Japanese has a lot of characterisation baked into the language itself in a form of 'show, don't tell'.

First, let's start by explaining what 'desu' means.

'Desu' is a fairly standard sentence ending in Japanese, with a rough approximation to 'It is' in English (As in, "Nihongo desu." would be translated as "It's Japanese (language).").

It's also the first one you learn when studying Japanese as a foreign language (so foreigners have a stereotype of putting 'desu' at the end of their sentences even when it makes little to no sense, like Kongou and Iowa in KanColle).

If a character uses 'nanodesu' at the end of their sentences (like Inazuma in KanColle), it means the same thing, but shows that they are uncertain and a little bit childish. (Think of it like a little kid trying to interject by saying "Ummm...")

If a character uses 'da' instead of 'desu' (could be for personal reasons, or because that's their dialect) it shows them as being more direct and certain of themselves ("Nihongo da" ≈ "Denfinitely Japanese!").

So, if a character uses 'nanoda' they are showing themselves to be somewhat childish, but very sure of themselves.

Combined with Yukikaze's personal pronoun being "Yukikaze-sama" (which is both childish [third person] and very arrogant [using the '-sama' suffix]) she portrays herself as being a haughty little princess with confidence to eclipse even Enty. Which makes her cute.

TL;DR: Yukikaze says 'nanoda' because she's a haughty little princess. Which makes her cute.
