Well, it was a Roman-founded settlement, after which it fell variously under kingdoms that were native Briton, Saxon and Viking.

In other news, I literally just found out today that our favourite Poi/Awoo bote is coming to WoWS as a T7 premium.

She's going to be a day-one Admiral bundle purchase for me and I will proceed to spam the in-game chat and this forum with pois for a year, with only two possible exceptions:

1. WG give her PA DWTs - I will most likely grumble and buy a cheaper package than Admiral.
2. WG give her Asashio DWTs - I will quit the game indefinitely.

And I'm not joking about that second one. Try me, WG.

Considering WeeGee already hinted a second US-CV line for the missing CVs (Bogue, Indy and Essex), I can see her spot as regular T8 ship next to Lexington. (In 4 years maybe )

Same goes for Akagi. (Zuihou -> Ryuujou -> Akagi -> Taiho)

Yorktown has been confirmed as the USN T8 CV in the upcoming alt line.

Meanwhile Bogue has been completely removed from the tech tree. My guess is that she will return as a T4 premium.
