See, Leander is none of that. In general, I guess you could look through cruisers. Light cruisers come with added benefit of likely being the most universal ship type to use.

I merge boxes and loot Shiranui shop for some time  already, though little luck besides planes and (decent) BB guns.

Though golden and two purple twin 127 happened, so Sandy and Pensylvannia class is outfitted, same with CVs 

 

Leander works fine in UK fleet, but I'm neutral about her. Belfast/Sirius despite being oppai class cruisers don't tickle me with maid thingy. Ajax I'd happily shove into washing machine and set full speed for her annoying attitude. And for socially awkward I have mirror already so little use of Indianapolis

One day Newcastle will arrive. Else, Curacoa and Curlew aren't bad (character-wise, stat-wise they are AA barges which you'd likely not use in that role as soon as you level Sirius), Edinburgh I doubt is to your liking (though if she is, nothing wrong with that). Sheffield seems not that bad, though while she isn't Ajax, I'm pessimistic about you liking her. RN CAs aren't that terrible either, London seems ok, York and Exeter aren't that terrible, Kent is basically the IDW of this game tho.

 

Otherwise, there's also other nation's cruisers, like Clevedad, Helena, Atlanta, Quincy, Prinz Eugen, Avrora, Takao, Atago, Myoko, Ashigara, Furutaka, Naka...

 

And that's just cruisers (and only some of them). Nothing wrong with BBs/CCs/CVs like Hood, Amagi, North Carolina, one day Essex and Dunkerque...

She has a decent retrofit though. Not character-wise. As Graf Spee notes, her character is rotten as ever, but that damage vs heavy cruisers...

Well, whatever... we'll see...

 

Brooklyn is an okish cruiser. Basically comparable to non-retro Leander in stats. Typical USN ship with no torps but DD secondary guns. Never levelled her, but certainly isn't bad. Also, the Brooklyn-class collection gives Wichita.

At first I thought that it was a time-limited event, but it turns out that this core exchange is a permanent feature and the day counter there simply indicates when items in this core shop refresh.

As much as I agree they could really use with a colour separation in addition to the little '+' symbol, I have no problem spotting which one's which. Guess it helps if you know what they were historically.

My take would be a light orange with one gun and for heavy cruisers dark orange with two guns and a plus symbol.

Just the recolour would probably be enough. Changing from yellow-orange to a more reddy-orange would also make the + stand out a little better, too.

When you haven't had a significant other ever you start becoming willing to accept just about anything. Although to be honest, I think I've desired to be the sub to a dom for a long time.

With regards to Ajax, her bullying feels more playful. She even outright states she only goes so far with you:

I don't think it's something you just develop out of loneliness, but well. At least personally, I've been a bit on the dom side since a young age, it kind of is a fundamental aspect of my personality, though I'm quite apt at keeping it to myself.

Ajax thus to me isn't a character I like due to having some desire to be a piggy or some feet fetish, but because her character kind of resonates with part of me (which might mean I have a trash personality, but I take it). I also liked the Graf Spee event, given it showed a bit more of the interactions Ajax has.

Don't know Albacore's personality, but Sims just seems like some smug troll. I guess they are different kinds of treasing though.

Party Queen skin indeed is nice.

Ajax - Asanagi will be proud. Very proud. Extremely proud. Possibly only AL doujin which has potential to become a meme. Possibly due to Homerian myth reference she is one of most historical AL characters. Anyway for me she is one of many AL characters treatable only by napalm air raid.

 

Maybe I am strange but I don't find despite half year of playing any interesting characters in AL. Really.  Ok I like Juneau or Tirpitz and they are exceptionally nice ( because not possible to lewd like Belfap, Taihou or other meme-bers of hoe squad?  ) Maybe I am strange but I'm expecting more from characters of games. Manjuu Jamaica without any Rasta motifs? Manjuu really? Without Peter Tosh beret? Without Bob Marley motifs? Without W-word?  I'm not dissapointed because I don't expect anything from Manjuu but I'm still proud that I'm able to not spend any money ( which I will not spend not matter what ) for this production and every gems with I get, were from quests and they allows me to expand my base with slots, dorm and academy.

Coincidentally I have also retrofitted Langley today. I'm also only a few more purple blueprints from Bogue's.

And I just discovered today that Las Vegas, Nevada and Okla-homer's retrofits are available, so I'm working on getting them to level 80 (not to hard for Homer, as I already had her at level 70 for the Pearl's Tears collection and Viva Las Vegas was already at 41 because she was my first battleship before upgrading to something better).

I only have two DD retrofits left (Fortune and Kamikaze, but I don't even have Kamikaze yet...) and I'm working on getting the various cruisers up to their maximum retrofit-required levels (apart from Jintsuu, as I'm not even up to chapter 10 yet - I can imagine she's going to be a pain in the arse as a 10-4 drop only).
