Yes.

 

Yes and yes. If you didn't get bored before T7, you'd likely not get bored afterwards. Personally I found the MN cruisers not very interesting and dropped them at T8, after grinding that far for Operation Cherry Blossom (before I learned I can do the op with Chapayev).

Ahh ok, since the reload thingy kinda put me off playing the algerie for awhile even though i actually enjoyed playing the line so far.

The reload booster kind of gives them some dpm spike, which might allow the necessary kick. I preferred other lines that felt more impactful. Overall though, the cruisers are solid, just don't forget you have AP.

 

Also, for the ship girls, Kagerou isn't Ayanami, but decent torp girl and gives torp buff to frontline.

I know, right? The only thing I'd say they're quite stingy with is Gems, which appears to be the 'true' premium currency of the game. I needed to buy more to make sure I got both Ning Hai's and Ping Hai's Autumn Festival costumes.

My Cube stores are floating around the 50-60 mark, and that's just because I'm constantly rolling to try and get Ping Hai (and Terror, as she's refusing to drop from 4-3). On the subject of grinding 4-3 for Terror, I've gone all the way from around Commander level 30 to level 43 just grinding the one effing level. I have had only three Elite Rare drops, the first was Erebus, the second was Javelin and the third was bloody Erebus again!

Surely Elite Rares can't be this difficult to drop; and if they are I dread to think how long it'll take me to get the foxes (Super Rares) once I start grinding for them!

Also, for the first time since starting the game I've actually found myself running low on oil while playing this 'Dyed in Red' event - only playing it mind you, not grinding it. If I could trade some of my coins for oil I would - I've easily got more than 20k and even if I drop down as low as 2k I find myself quickly building them back up again.

Ugh. My two main fleets are costing me 51 and 45 oil per battle and I'm really starting to feel the oil burn. If I could just get Terror to drop then I could start using my 'CheapFleet' in earnest. Fletcher/Thatcher/Ausburne/Erebus is not enough to even complete one freaking battle on 4-3 let alone the whole level. I'm thinking ideally I want Terror and then throw in Vestal to keep everyone healed up.

But Terror won't effing drop.

No, it doesn't. Some SR drops are much more difficult such as Jintsū in map 10-4. She's much more difficult to drop than that 2 foxes.

Really, so Elites (SRs) are occasionally more difficult to drop than Super Rares (SSRs)!?!

I think I might have found something about this game I dislike more than the cheating Lunatic/Infernal difficulty in FEH. But not by much.

Because those SRs have a SSR-level skills, its justified. Plus the SRs pools is bigger than SSRs, the bigger the pool the harder it to drop.

That...doesn't really justify it, though. If an SR has SSR-level skills, just make the damn thing an SSR, rather than poluting a lower-rarity pool.

You're right about the bigger pool thing, but that still doesn't explain why even SRs seem to drop so infrequently - nevermind that I'm aiming for one out of five possible SRs on the map in question.

Is the background colour that important? All it really changers is which bulin you can use on it.

 

And something like Leander has stats and skills that would as well fit on a blue or purple background, but somehow it is grey and a common drop. Not that I complain.

Fair enough, and FEH does have low-rarity units with powerful skills, too. The main difference is you actually have to increase the rarity of the unit in order to make those skills available to learn (level a character up to lvl20 then spend 'hero feathers' to reset their level to 1 and up their star count - but going from 4-star to 5-star costs a whopping 20k hero feathers).

For example, Reinhardt starts out as a fairly mediocre 3/4-star Cavalry Blue Mage, but upon reaching 5-star he unlocks the 'Dire Thunder' tome which allows him to attack twice in one go if he initiates combat. Reinhardt is considered one of the most powerful units in the game as a result of his tome. "Magic is everything!"

This leads me on to my question about fuel efficient farming. I heard monitors are cheap backline ships to use for farming, but I'm sure there's a couple tricks you guys could tell me or noteworthy ship combinations that work well for efficient farming (if possible also for autopilot).

Well, it took me several weeks for Honolulu to drop at 10-2. That's a blue drop.

Although ironically both Jintsuu and St. Louis didn't take nearly as long.

So yeah, could just be RNGesus trolling hard.

Judging from the comments the proposed Fletcher fleet isn't quite working on EN servers due to the level limit without LMBing and quite a ressource investment for maxing skills and equipment.

But aren't the drops fixed on the maps? So the pool shouldn't be that big.

410mm twin guns are meh. If you don't have any good BB guns, take them.

Torp is nice but you'll be able to get those later a lot more easily via Core-Data exchange (whenever that hits EN). Still, if you want one now, go for it.

Reppu is a top tier fighter, but so are others that are more accessible (Hellcats & Seafangs. F4Us and A6M5 Zeroes aren't bad either).

Extra Zui-zui for LB if you're short on Bulins.

Boxes if you're short on good equipment.

 

Personally tho I'd go for the furniture. I'm not even joking.

Got Hornet from World 5.

They really put that Big Wasp joke in there... Not that I complain. Now I have all three Yorktown-class.

 

Also, event earned me two Ise from construction and one Yamashiro drop. Not much else. I heard Leander becomes less expressive after retrofit, but I did see her smile at times, so it seems fine. Sadly, as I go through the event, I mostly drop more Leanders and not really anything useful otherwise.

Zui has a 0.7% craft chance. So yeah, if you are worried you might want to grab her in the shop (or you can safe up till the last day of the event if you still don't have her and buy her then)

You could hold out on getting her from the shop for now if you want to keep trying. After all the event still lasts a while.

She's definitely worth it tho. Doubly so with Shoukaku ofc, but even on her own she's pretty powerful.
