Gold twin BL 15" Mk II has the fastest reload out of all "good" (aka high damage) guns. If your idea is to proc the heal as much as possible, this is the gun to go for.

Otherwise purple triple 16"/45 Mark 6 is generally acknowledged as the best BB gun.

(Pretty sure you don't have these yet tho, so just use what you have on hand. )

The weirder one is the triple mount you get as Repulse's stock secondary can be equipped on DDs, too.

I can't even imagine an IRL DD equipped with triple gun mounts.

(Obviously, I'm not quite stupid enough to actually use that triple mount - it sucks!)

I guess I have better crate luck than I do building/drops luck.

I get my hands on SoDak first, because she's brown waifu. I ran her along side North Carolina, because the "North-South" combo. 

 

But you will get both anyway, just get which you want first.

Is there any great reason to farm these? Other then them being good CVs and maybe interesting characters? Am I doing it wrong to not farm them?

On a more serious note, great stats, quick launch skill and synergy with each other makes them excellent CVs to have. That puts them very close to mandatory in farming priority.

Technically speaking since the event is coming up you can substitute them with the cranes instead if you wish. The pairing buff isn't as high but their other skills are pretty neat.

That and imo they look better. 

I still run the foxes tho as I got Zuikaku too late. They do maintain unrivaled air power when used together and are thus technically speaking the "best" pair out of all of them, but the cranes aren't that far behind. And while the bunnies are technically speaking the worst pair primarily as their skills are more situational, they're still perfectly serviceable.

Foxes pair for quick one shot, meanwhile Cranes pair more towards endurance battle.

 

If you played against a long battle/hard map Cranes pair are more durable and can outlast Foxes.

You can but it will be difficult it the future. Yorktown and Unicorn is not that useful in high level map, so I not bother to waste resources on them. Though you can put single Unicorn backline as mob clearing fleet.

Depends. Some ships have nation specific buffs which can be quite amazing. An all HMS fleet with QE at its core for example is incredibly powerful as her skill is:

Like @El2aZeR already said, Queen Lizzy flat out buffs basically every attribute on RN ships when she's employed in the same fleet. Pretty much a must-have on any pure or RN focused fleet compositions.

No worries, Yorktown is still a very capable CV and once Essex hits (which to be fair is still quite a while off) you can create an incredible USN CV backline.
