I've read the first three Re;Zero novels, but I've gotten a little bored and I'm considering trying out the Tanya novels or Index novels.

But probably the only bookstore that I know that taking orders for international books are 250KM away... and I dont have that kind of energy to go that far. And I dont have online banking account or Paypal.

This season is better than I honestly expected myself.

 

In the end, besides the sequels I'm watching mainly those five :

Is Island any good? I watched the first few minutes and it didn't really go anywhere? What's the plot anyways? Is there anything supernatural or futuristic in it at all or is the time travelling just a plot device?

Oh and by the way, should I make the Conqueror an octopus or squid of some description given her concealment? Maybe I could make her a Tohru-like dragon given that she basically breathes fire. Shipgirls in general are much too human.

I only watched Kyoto no Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes this season because I try filled others the old series.

 

KyotoHolmes is like Detective Conan but with lots of stuff related to antiques and less scientific and more romance.

Banana Fish is pretty nice aswell.

And Hataraku Saibou is just hilarious, though you need to know cell biology/human physiology to get half the jokes.

Plenty of Azur Lane's girls have animal ears and it works quite well there as well. By squid or dragon I do mean scylla lite or dragon girls like so:

Yeah, I can see it being difficult to buy anything online if you don't have the prerequisite online financial presence.

Most shopping sites can store your credit/debit card info to make purchasing easier, so you don't necessarily need a PayPal account. Then again, I just use PayPal as a glorified wall between most of these website storing my card details so it's not all that different anyway.

 

On the subject of English translations - these are not the ones I was surprised to find, but the thing I was surprised to find I cannot link here because of forum rules.

Of this season I'm only really watching Cells at Work!

Most of the rest of the stuff I'm watching is me catching up with older stuff, such as GeGeGe no Kitarou (series 6), My Hero Academia S3, Golden Kamuy, One Room and Teasing Master Takagi-san.

Thinking about A Certain Magical Index, the third season is supposed to be starting broadcast in October, isn't it? I'm looking forward to seeing Touma punching more little girls in the face.

The thing normally goes by the initials 'MGE' on online message boards. The English-translated books are surprisingly epic in quality, I'm talking hardback covers and full colour pages on high-grade paper. I have both currently-released volumes.

Ashigara is only character not fully depressing. Now I know that she likes lewd books, because she smuggled in 1937 some porn from England to Japan despite law-ban and Kempitai. How to not love her? Yes. Some of this paintings can work very nice as hanged on wall.  Some of them will be great stained glass work.

 

I only don't understand symbolicity of deer motif in Hagikaze and giraffes with panda in Isuzu ( exit from zoo like death, zoo is war or maybe enemys? but she sank almost at end of war so zoo is metaphore of war? ) Untranslated names on zoo wall possibly will be answer to this. Haruna's zebra is ofc reference to the last camouflage. Shark from Yamakaze ise reference to submarine sunk by Yamakaze in early 1942 which crew survived sinking but were not rescued same as few months later Karma returns to Yamakaze.

Showing shipgirls in very dark way is great for me - tbh I prefer dark works. Few of the paintings really resembles Naive art as a genre and some of it will be awsome when made as stained glass works which is advantage for me not weakness.

 

Level of symbolism which is included in some of works is really awsome and I very appreciate works with so many overtones. Anybody knows something similar from KC?  It is a pity that the author did not introduce more characters or made single works with Chiyoda, I-8, ( this made properly and with taste can be masterpiece ), rest of Myoukou sisters and Libeccio ( contrast beetween sweet, innocent loli and horrors of war )

@Marblehead_1 You're right, the order is the date they were sunk/scrapped, etc. It becomes particularly poignant when you see clusters that reference certain battles - Akagi, Kaga, Hiryuu and Souryuu are together with Midway Hime (Yorktown) for example.

I like how Bismarck and Arc Royal are both playing with Libeccio.

seems like everyone here watches anime last anime i watched was mirai nikki haven't been able to get back into it for whatever reason, i do like my psychological horror and sometimes realistic anime, and some other genres but i can't remember the names.

 

also nice drawings as well, im struggling to find motivation for that.

As far as I know the current OBT is US and CA only.

But some say EU will get access 30th August, since the CBT was not regionlocked.

 

SEA will get it 30th August, nothing about EU yet.
