I love how they give old warships name to the new ones. Those brave girls gets a new life

Meanwhile, Enterprise is awaiting her 9th reincarnation having fought in past life the British (twice), the Ottoman Empire, the Germans, the Japanese, the Soviet Union, the Vietnamese, Iraq, was an observer - though didn't fight herself - in a Chinese-French battle, and even briefly fought... the American themselves !

Of course that's only if you count the sailing ships, because American Enterprise has also been to space and even even had an incarnation as a HOT AIR BALLOON. Did I mention the NASA project Enterprise, the prototype opn which they work to achieve faster-than-light travel ?

Still not beating the British though, who had 14 Enterprises, all sailing, plus one design named Enterprise, plus a couple uncommissioned small vessels of the same name.

However you look at it, I think we can fairly say enterprise has exceed the amount of lives of a cat.

...
Hm, somewhere in the middle I lost my point. Oh well.

Speaking of Poi, I haven't been keeping up with the updates on KC since before the last mini-event, but I kinda noticed Poi finally got her hourlies now. About time.

Only bad thing about them is that they're still so intent on upping all the character tics and popular lines as much as they can, rather than writing decent lines. Not that that's news in any way, though. They've been doing it with the anime and many of the kai ni updated lines. Only one I can recall actually toned down on something is that Murakumo's far less tsundere in kai ni. Seasonals aside.

Slighty off-topic guys. But any of you read LN? If you do, what websites you go to?

Interested to read some, but I have no idea where to start.

I do.

In facts I read tons of them.

Easiest site to read the most popular and some rare gems is Baka-Tsuki.

Then if you have a specific title in your mind, just go to novelupdate.

Another quite good website is Nanodesu Translation.

For example, this one :

https://www.novelupdates.com/series/sevens/

Also, most translators publishes stuff on Wordpress, so when I find a series that interest me, I just follows the site on wordpress with my Google account.

Crossing AL Monarch and KC Warspite should work fine as Conq.

Also she needs a flamethrower of some kind.

My bad, actually I had to create a Wordpress account.

But well, you can do the same. When you're connected to wordpress, you can click a small "follow" button on any of the wordpress site, and you have a "manage follow" option on wordpress that will show you all the most recent updates of the site you are suscribed to.

On Baka-tsuki btw, I recommend reading the HEAVY OBJECT series, there's an anime which isn't bad at all, and it's the same author as Index, but the LN is much better and there's a tons of volume, and they come out at a regular pace.

https://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=HEAVY_OBJECT

Tokyo Ravens is nice too :

https://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Tokyo_Ravens

Also, there are some sites that creates epub for translated light novel, even if the translator remove them from their website, so sometimes you can get earlier volume.

Light Novel, like manga, got a ton of very bad ones, and very badly written ones. Not to mention sometimes the translation is very wacky. However there ARE good Light Novel, and many one-shot are very good, especially on the tragedy and romance.

This one for instance, is a very good one :

I see.

I think I have watched the Tokyo Ravens anime but it was like 3 episodes? I dont remember why I drop it.

How long does it take to fully translate a series though?

Eighty-Six... Why I remember about Initial D. Lol.

Also, it dont have synopsis?

Yeah, there's no real synopsis about 86.

Basically, it's about a nation that consider all the not "pure-bred" with red eyes and white hair "not human" and send them to a "battlefield with 0 death" against robot.

Since they are "not human", when they die it's "no casualty lol".

It's very interesting.

How long does it take to translate... Well, it depends on the translator, really.

Yoraikun which translated Sevens, one of my favourite novel, can go ultra fast and with very good quality, with something like 1 chapter a day, when he's motivated. He finished the last 50 chapters of Sevens at an impressive pace. And there is 18 volume. Some are slower (most of them are very slow actually). Some are even faster than that.

My only experience from LN's is the YoYo Senkan. Some 35 pages left to finish the 1st volume. SoonTM  ^^

Has been decent so far. Never watched the anime, but can't help myself puking over the anime art. Jesus.

I used to read Oregairu until I think volume 10 which back then was the newest one. Haven't managed the motivation to read the newer volumes though.

Y'know, you can always try purchasing translated light novels, too.:cap_horn:

(I mean, don't go spending more than you can afford or anything stupid)

All of these are from the UK Amazon website:

Re;Zero

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Re-Starting-Another-World-light/dp/0316315303/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1533832332&sr=1-3&keywords=rezero

A Certain Magical Index

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Certain-Magical-Index-light-novel/dp/0316339121/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1533832439&sr=1-3&keywords=magical+index

Haruhi Suzumiya series

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Melancholy-Haruhi-Suzumiya-light-novel-ebook/dp/B007UTNPH4/ref=sr_1_6?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1533832470&sr=1-6&keywords=haruhi+suzumiya

The Saga of Tanya the Evil

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Saga-Tanya-Evil-light-novel/dp/0316512443/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1533832514&sr=1-2&keywords=tanya+the+evil

I've read the first three Re;Zero novels, but I've gotten a little bored and I'm considering trying out the Tanya novels or Index novels.:dance_turtle:

Index is... very boring to read. Honestly. HEAVY OBJECT and most other work by the same author are very good read (try The Circumstance Leading to Waltraute Marriage, it's a single volume and I died of laughter reading it), but Index is weak. Mostly because it's the same things happening over and over, and it's far from being as immersive as Object is.

I find Touma a very annoying protagonist, while the Quenser/Heivia duo got one of the best dynamic I've found in a LN.

Oh god you had to remind me of this ...

I actually had one of those pre-ordered. First print edition.

And f*cking Amazon f*cked it up accepting too many pre-orders, not f*cking telling me and by the time I went to ask them what the f*cks wrong with my order they tell me they're out and that I should try ordering from someone else. You can guess from my tone how that went.

I'm still livid and stopped shopping at Amazon after I found out that's how they handle pre-orders on basically everything: just accept every order, then ship out their contingent and once they're empty everyone else can go f*ck themselves, pre-order or not, without even having the decency of telling them beforehand that they're over capacity so people at least have the opportunty to look for alternatives before stuff like limited prints/editions are sold out EVERYWHERE (except on Ebay for ludicrously inflated prices of course!).

Stupid f*cking sh*ts!!! Don't ever pre-order anything from Amazon if you actually want it ... seriously, just don't!
