I play for fun. The only battles where I play 100% serious and don't go into stupid brawls are ranked and team battles with the latter being my favorite

Used to log in for fun but it's becoming less and less now. Mostly just to get a win on a ship I'm playing. Getting somewhat despondent in where the game is heading at the moment. Especially with the BB meta at present.

On a break right now, but used to play just to have fun. Not grinding any specif line or ship, no long term goals set either, just take things as they go. Was training my gearing captain in the fletcher, on the last 90k stretch I think till the 15 th captain point to get CE. Got a bit burned out by the boooooring matchmaker. Will play actively again in a while when things settle down. Taking breaks keeps me from getting too annoyed and quiting all together.

Phew! I thought I was a great wyrm at my age (43). Glad to see there's still hope for me! Hahahaha! WTF does age matter? I'm playing the game cause I want to have a good time. Since I've given up my WR obsession (I only have 1/12th influence on that anyway in random) and with the IMO amazing new economy I want to have a good time PtW (P stands for mainly play (also pay in my case but that's another matter)). But I enjoy a lost but awesome match as well. I've handed more compliments to my "enemies" than to my allies since they phased in the Karma. And like JapLance put it adequately: tino. (there's no alternitive). If so I'd try that 1 too. But they don't need to hurry: I like Wow's very much. Yeah RNG can troll big time but I also see the sense of humor in that. Often I am SO amazed I survived a particular salvo I lose focus (WTF? I survived? I SURVIVED!!!!) and get wrecked by the next! I'm around for more than a year now and since the beginning I have 1 ever working rule: If I feel frustrated, I'll use the alt-F4 hack...

Hope you don't quit altogether bro/ sis. I really like your input on the forum for starters and would love to meet you in combat. Whether friend or foe (foe for the max 20 minutes. Friends forever of course).

@OP - you need a "None of the above" option for me to tick.

 

The game itself is great!  It's become better and better since I joined a year ago. (There is an issue of too many BBs around - but that can be fixed in lots of ways). Initially, my own play improved, and it was fun seeing the improvement, but has hit a brick wall at "Just about scrapes into the average category...maybe". This limits my enjoyment a lot.

 

I keep playing it because it is fun IN SMALL QUANTITIES.

 

The only tiers that I like are 4 & 5, but these get boring after a few games. About 25% of my games are in tiers 6 & 7 but I am not competitive, and I hate being a drag on my team. Sadly, I've not seen any signs of progress there in about six months.

 

I am hoping that concentrating on one nation's ships (Russia) will improve things a bit.

i do but i like to jump between ranked,  unlocking ships and achievements. with the lack of goals, i made mine to get a profit of 2M per day and that itself is fun with murmansk and kamikaze but with challenges i play double the time, what can i say i am achivement motivated

For me, It is wanting to be better than I was the day before, also for the fun factor, the laughs I have when watching teammates disappear to the borders of the game after 3 minutes into the game.

Rewards, somebody saying "Have a Compliment" testing your strategic skills, I could go on and on.

With the 0.5.12 "readjusted" economy, the urge to click WoWS.exe has virtually gone. Before that: "cruiser deletion while sailing BB's", and "BB deletion while sailing DD's".

Well in theory, if you "no longer double click the WoWs.exe" you have no reason to read the forum, thus making such an option is pointless.
