Ok. So i mean we are only 5 days into October. You published on Facebook that people could download the calendar, yet apparently you cant be bothered to update the actual event calendar.

Aren't events done on how much we all spend in the Premium Shop?

As in once WG feel they've made enough from ships and dubs they have weekend events with everything we've already bought on discount?

This is... somewhat expected but definitely irritating.

Dafaq??!

I don't think we have ever had that many events in one go...

Ya could've if things were slightly different.

On RU WG is testing parallel mission steps concept seen by some on Public Test, but this time applied to big live server. If that same concept was put on EU in September, when there were also 2 ARP missions and a Campbeltown mission, you'd have same amount of events(and actually even more ;P)

probably this concept will be introduced elsewhere as well

So what surprises you about this, we're only here to help fatten their wallets, and as long as we do, we'll always be treated as second class, its that simple, what would happen if the majority of eu players stopped playing premium, bet they'd sit up and notice then.

Well, we've gotten this month's wallpapers. Can only be a question of weeks until we get the event calender.

I'd suggest WG-EU staff to scrap whatever they are doing for this month's calendar and start working on November's one, so maybe we can have it ready on time.

So, eight days into the month, no event calender. I won't candycoat this one, ... at this point I'd be ashamed of my incompetence. WG needs to get their act together and I don't care if it's just the employees being forgetful or if WG EU consists of two guys in total, this is plain shameful.

What's wrong with guys? Seriously? I don't understand...

What makes you actually think that the Event Calendar for October needs to be out BEFORE the month ends? What madness is this? Must be one of those EU things that makes WG hate us so much.

What's the next thing you going to expect? That the EC gets released on the official Portal of the game? Get outta here.

Check reddit, twitter or 4chan for it.

Does it really matter if there is an event calender or not? The missions and stuff is repetitive, so nothing new there. In addition is the ranked season in progress, so everyone is playing ranked anyway. And no matter what mission/event is live, it's always the same 'kill some of these and kill some of that, make x amount of damage' - those are thing everyone of us does anyway while playing ships. Bottom line is, i do not care if there is an event calender or not.

It's kinda nice to know when ship discounts are gonna be in advance... For example knowing about the current discounts on USN ships would have saved me quite a bit of credits on the Iowa...

I will do the following: I will wait until something finally comes up. Then I will take note how long it took them, and start nagging the same amount of time IN ADVANCE for the November calender. That is, if they can get their act together before the 15 th ofc .... at which point I will start nagging and bi7ching anyway.

Also its back to the typical EU-standard of not a word ....... It wouldnt be so bad if you had something but the plain silence. They might get some understanding an slack that way ....... instead of disappointment and well deserved disgruntled comments.

1. I dont play ranked. I will play one game to get the free million aside from that I will not delve down into that sewer.

2. Discounts and stuff.

3. I have to take some vacations days and free days before the end of the year. Ofc a event calender might influence some decisions (Takao?)......... if there was a event calender ofc.

4. Its also about the fact that we are back to "standard-lvls-of-EU-communication".

Not an idea in the world... however let's take a look back in the past.

Hi guys,  I feel I need to chip in here and explain a few things.

When you say "EU Community Team" you have to remember we have 7 different language teams.  Now as this topic is on the English section I can only gather that you feel the English Team is lacking in contests. You're right and I apologize for that.

A full strength English speaking team consists of 4 members of staff who cover all products. 2 Community Mangers and 2 Community Coordinators.  The Community Coordinators are the ones you would mainly see posting on the forums. Sadly in the English speaking team, the 2 previous Coordinators Erissa and Grimbru recently left Wargaming to pursue careers with other companies. We are currently recruiting for those two positions and hope to have the roles filled by the end of August at the latests.  When it comes to the Community Managers, sadly my counterpart Brynd has been off ill these past 2 weeks.  This means It's been me running the show for all of the Wargaming products on my lonesome. From social media to forum posting, product reporting and various project work (such as planning off line events like the one recently in Denmark and preparing for Firstlook in the Netherlands later in the year).

Yes, having more staff would alleviate this issue and as I stated above we're hiring more staff.

I'm truly sorry you don't have the opportunities of the other servers and after gamescom I'll be sure to make sure running a contest is one of my top priorities. Running contests isn't the be all and end all for what a Community Team is there for, so please don't dismiss the hard work we do daily for you guys just because you don't have an active contest.

I agree things are not as great as they can be, and steps are being made to improve that.

That's more than a year ago. Sounds familiar right? It does focus more on competitions, but communications are also part of it. Look how far we have come from those days. It's like night and day. Ev1n posts at odd intervals, and that's about it.

Oddly enough, the same team that does the WoWS stuff, does also the WoT stuff, and the WoT Calendar is out. And they post announcements in the Forum, and you find comments now and then... and yes, i mean the EU Wot forums and Portal. :hmm:
