Declaration of War against Battleships

In the name of Cruisers, almost extinct class of ships, I declare war against Battleships.

 

From now on I will only play Destroyers and for that cause my weapons of war will be best torpedo boats there are:

1.Kagero – 17pt captain

2.Fubuki – 17pt captain

3.Fletcher – 17pt captain

4.Hatsuharu

5.Minekaze

6.Kamikaze

 

When I research Shima I will include her also.

 

 

This current Battleship infestation is really killing all enjoyment of the game. Cruisers are very hard to play, expect invisibly firing HE spamming which is most boring thing to do in this game and which often doesn't bring victory. And I don't want to play them defensively by camping in my base.

 

I decided not to be Don Quixote and try to play Cruisers at all cost so I don't plan to sail them any time soon.

 

There is saying if you can't beat them join them. I will not be joining Battleships (btw which I loved to play, my 2nd most played class) because I can beat them in my Destroyers and will beat them game after game after game.

 

I will be fighting against Battleships exclusively, will avoid fight against other Destroyers, because I know that their main targets are Battleships and will not fight against Cruisers, only Battleships will be on my menu.

 

Who feels the same about poor Cruisers and this Battleships infestation  can join the war and this noble cause and do the same as I am doing, with whatever ship he or she likes but except Battleships because we are fighting against them.

I dont care if they nerf torpedo boats anymore because they are ruining theirs game and slowly killing one of her unique style which makes game diverse and beautiful to play. If they want to make all the ships same let them do that, their game and their incomes will suffer.

I'm a masochist and I will continue to play cruisers.

All for the possible satisfaction of burning a BB to the ground, dishing out a dozen torpedoes with Atago (which I call "Torpedo Dance") or complain in chat why a cruiser has to do all the pushing.

 

Although I admit, sometimes I play with one of my BBs, but mostly cruisers.

You make a thread that is pure anger, have 0 solution to a very obvious problem and declare a "I want this to change now or I will make as many battleship players miserable in this game as i possibly can" statement. Not only that, you call upon others to join you in a frenzy to completely ruin Battleships, leaving every other type of ship unscathed. 

 

Do not misunderstand me. I agree with you that cruisers are in a tight spot these days, but what i do not agree with is how you intend to have your voice heard. 

 

Simply because of this rage of a post (which contains 0 solutions), I expect this thread to be thrown into the bin along with the other rage posts.

I will be joining the battleship faction with Iowa, Scharnhorst, Roon, Admiral Hipper, Furutaka, and sometimes Kiev. Not because I second the BB infestation, but because I want to fight the DD infestation. SDGsteve got it right.

 

I will not refrain from opening fire at other ships than DDs but they will be my priority targets then. Actually, they have always been.

Not sure if your "War" will lead to anything, but i'm pretty sure you're not the only one who got bitten in the [edited]by one problem, jumped to the wrong conclusion and:

1. offered the other butt cheek to said problem, cause why not

2. participates and nurishes another problem that will sooner or later bite you in the balls.

 

Instead of playing cruisers, folks decided to play DDs and we had a DD infestation on our hands that made a cockroach infestation looks like a a charming hick up of mother nature.

And instead of playing more cruisers and use WASD hax, folks decide to play even more DDs because reasons.

Maybe you think this way but it is not happening. I do like playing bb`s and i still do, but also like you said there are too many every game so i switch to my destroyer after some games in a bb. For example i was just playing my minekaze but got hit multiple times by bombs from a plane then another destroyer starts to shoot at me result i could not get close enough to the bb and why should i was already detected and when you are the bb is making its maneuvres so the chance to hit with a torpedo is low.

This happens a lot of times when i start to play my destroyer also cruisers who are chasing me, i have to admit i am not very skilled in a destroyer but after some deads with little damage to the enemie i switch back to my bb again probably waiting for you to kill me lol.

So i hope a lot of us are reading this and are following this rules what would make the destroyer class at the moment a very nice class to play with thank you.

I play all except CV (never had one dont rearly want one) but thats my choice,the BB infestation I beleive is due to the arrival of the germen line coming into into play,when the RN crusers come in the game there willl be complaints that to meny crusers in game,its just a phase and there will be many more i dare say in the future when new things are introduced, I still see and most times battles with 3 or 4 DDs in the game

I will keep playing my cruisers. Especially after missing citadels at 9km with my Yamato, I will gladly prefer the Ibuki over her. At least she's not so RNG dependant.

Battleship investation oh god here we go!!! let's talk about your precious torp dessies!!! oh great enemy team has 5 dessies all torp nerds with long range let's see how we do the tango evading 60 a 70+ torpedoes in tier X just taking pod shot without having to evade a single shot in return as the fleet can only try to run away find an island if the map spawns you lucky enough seeing a red wall of red triangles getting closer and closer and no way out oh wait we have not even spotted a ship yet cause this is just minute 2 of the game!! sir you are so mistaken on what the current investation problem is! A battleship is less agile slower then most ships slow rate of fire and visual from the moon like the chinese wall!!!

High end cruisers from Tier 7, 8 and 9 are in a bad place maybe as they get dunked of the field fast but dont blame battleships alone for this!! usually the cruiser pilot is dumb enough to give his or her full broadside for a massive [edited]pounding if it's not 400mm+ shells it's torps that kills them.

Every match is infested by red ships - up to 12 of them if you can believe that.

That is an infestation of epic proportion which has to be dealt with brutally since we cannot count on WG to do anything about it (as usual).

 

Who feels the same about this infestation can join this noble war in any class or ship of their liking.

There are only 2 rules:

1. Shoot red thingies and not green thingies

2. The only good circle color is green, anything else is just bad

I am not even trying to bring the solution here because I am not paid for that, already I gave them a lot of money, I am not planning to give them also my brain.

 

The only complaints to be heard and act upon are those from BBMafia nerfing every other class in their favor so I will fight till there is no BBMafia anymore.

Solution for BB infestation has been suggested here  billion times but devs dont wanna hear about it.

i don t know why it is most fun to play battleship.  I like to play cruisers a lot because they are much more versatile. If one has a bad game in cruisers (or other type of ship), one has mostly to blame hisself. I do have bad games, but also do have good games (in all types except aircraft carriers, which i don t play).

I like to set fire on battleships, protect our team against destroyers, try to make use of torpedos sometimes, shoot airplanes of carriers out of the sky before they reach us (our carrier). Lot of things you can t do with BBs.

 

So, topic starter, why shouldn´t you play cruisers besides your dd´s, and you don t have to wait to get ingame also.

Last week i hardly playes battleships because it takes to long anyway.

Hmh... a capable BB player has no real issues with what ever it meets on the battlefield.

Better yet, a capable player can make a useful impact on the game in any ship if you use it's advantages properly and apply situational awareness combined with tactical insight.

Cool me and the other players who play cruisers properly will have more destroyers to hunt down. It's more interesting when you have to defend your team from sneaky destroyers. N a good challenge.
