Just pure and simple stupid from my part a.k.a the worst game one can have. I was supposed to take my Mogami out for a spin. I run hydro in it, because it works well with those 155ers. This is all good and so forth but the fact that I, for reasons unknown, picked Ibuki from the port and my brain still kept saying me "You're in a Mogami - doing Mogami stuff". Right at the beginning of the match I saw 2 enemy DDs disappearing in same smoke near me. I had friendly Fletcher right beside me so I declared loudly "Going in with hydro"... Of course the fact that I was in Ibuki, in which I don't run hydro, kinda messed that move. There I was running head first into the smoke, slammed 'T' and ... activated my defensive fire ability. I might have survive the ordeal but my brain decided that since "plan Hydro" failed, the best course of action is to try and turn around and thus offer my juice broadside for those enemy DDs. End results were 2 hits scored and my team carried my fail and won. It sure was nice to get +50% to that XP. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But the Tier X domination match on Hotspot yesterday, when two groups of my team tried to attack the enemy by moving along the borders was quite frustrating. Lost 11:0. Got tangled up trying to help out a langleys planes, lost focus, lost all my planes to straffs from 2 as bogues ... well it didnt get any better on the second wave. Worst cv game ever. Teammates were joining up from distance so I just decided to slowly inch my way forward until they could catch up. Enemy NC, Bayern, Fuso and Atago turned around island, all launching full salvos at my bow taking away half of my HP. I fired back, landed a salvo for 7k damage and the next volley they finished me off as I was trying to turn behind island. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I did have a game in the last week where I only did about 6k dmg with my fubuki. I did get 3 DD kills though and capped 2 spots, so I guess I still did my job for that victory. [SLOTH] txtspeak Players 3,041 posts 5,653 battles Report post #21 Posted October 16, 2016 I hit battle, tabbed out and read touhou gappy fics for about 5 minutes before I remembered I was in a game, by the time I had got back my team had lemming trained and I (like an idiot) was still AFK at the spawn getting bumrushed by the enemy lemming train (which consisted of 4 battleships and three cruisers) at 8km. it was a titanic battle worthy of the Bismarck's final stand. but in the end, Koenig turned over and sank. the enemy say that they saw my avatar standing on one of the forward turrets, urging a sailor to jump and save himself. then the ship capsized epiclly. CV in the battle... positioned to cover our CV and close to BB's to cover also, when 'splat' long range citadels...gloop. 2 aircraft destroyed. One very unhappy bunny, we lost, but hey ho. ONE kill between both teams and that ship died with 30 seconds left on the clock when he yolo'd in to our cap to try and reset. The top-ranked player on the enemy team earned 745 XP. Unfortunately I was in the Colorado and by the time I got back to our cap the enemy DD had smoked up behind the island with two cruisers and I could not get to them.
