What comes after RN cruiser line?

So I am wondering what ships WG are planning to release after the RN cruisers. I know there are a scatter of premium ships and the new IJN DDs in the pipeline but I don't mean those. Have they hinted at what the next complete line of ships are going to come after the RN cruisers?

 

Some of what we are missing so far:

 

German DDs

Soviet BBs

British CV/BB/DD

Split CL/CA lines for IJN/USN

New line of ships from nations like France, Italy or the Netherlands, all of which had sizable navies in the time periods of this game.

 

What do you guys think? Are there any rumors or actual statements from WG?

 

What would you guys prefer? New navies or completing existing navies?

 

Myself I would prefer german DDs as that would complete the german navy (barring CVs which they didn't operate anyhow) and after those I would prefer to see the complete RN tree. I don't much care about Russian/Soviet BBs at all.

German DD's it would seem, likely to be large gunboat type destroyers

 

Not sure if its confirmed but Soviet BB's next year one would assume perhaps finishing off the RN and likely one "other" line

Wouldnt be so sure with the nasty "suprise" of the IJN DD reshuffle it might also be the US CA split.

a second US/IJN CV line would be useful and there are some CV's not in the game at present that were produced in far greater numbers than most of the IJN ones.  Casablanca, Commencement Bay, Wasp, Yorktown classes being examples.  I think we need the rework of CV's and then some more CV lines to add some variety to CV play

I guess they have ruled out Soviet Carriers(and German ones)but personally I would be shocked if there isn't a Soviet Carrier line before the RN one.

Unlikely since they said no further prem CV will be released till they reworked the UI and gameplay overall.

they also said the rework of the CV interface would be this year.  but I don't think its just the interface, but USN loadouts that need fixing.  I hate the fact that the US have to give away all of a capability or all of another and/or be sub optimal when the IJN can be all of everything.  Bogue, Ranger, Lexington and Essex need new loadouts and the DB nerfs since 0.5.3 need to be revoked.  Then US CV's become competitive.  You might say its competitive at tier 10 and it kind of is, but you can't base the entire line on the tier 10.  I don't see why they couldn't add Akagi or Yorktown or Graf Zeppelin as a premium CV some time next year or even the RN CV's after this interface rework

well i didnt meant it has to be that order

but those lines were confirmed or hinted to be in the pipeline.

so those are the one that will come next (with maybe 1-2 unknown in between)

fixing carrier gameplay is very simple really.  the interface maybe less so but then I haven't seen the source code so I don't know.  No I am not just a carrier player, I have played less games in a carrier than any other class.  As for other premiums, I suppose stuff like USS Alabama.  What they really need to do is go back to the rock/paper/scissors and stop bending the knee to every request from battleship players who don't play other ships much

well some realativ new news said not this year and whats more worrying is they dont really have a Vision how to revamp CV gameplay without removing the skill ceilling.so i wouldnt think anything will come till mid next year considering the resorces needed for a relativ small player base. Wouldnt suprise me it would come with the RN CVs.

Unless they come up with some super secret Sovjet BB plans, the Sovjet BB Tree isnt very impressive.

Up to Tier IV with the Imperator Nikolai I, and then the Sovetsky Soyuz class as possible Tier X with 3x3 406mm guns and big armor but of an inferior type.

The first two are definitely going to get their own lines (except the CVs, I guess); but I doubt that the Dutch Navy can get in as a separate nation.

 

But I am certain that before anything like them comes in the game, we'll have to pass through German DDs, British BBs and DDs, and Russian BBs.

I've read somewhere WG is working on German DDs. They try to release them this year, but no promises.

 

For myself I hope for more British and Italian ships. I really hope for Dutch ships as well, but I doubt a full tech tree can be realized. I think one or two premiums isn't too much to ask for.

Either that, or a strong presence in the minor tree. But in the long term, some Dutch presence is a must, in my opinion.

Personally I'm looking forward to the RN DD line. If Blyska is anything to judge by, they'll have good gun arcs, solid torpedoes and usable concealment.

A british BB line, well, they have BBs up  to Tier VIII(King George V Class)  maybe Tier IX(Lion Class), but no Tier X. I dont see HMS Vanguard as Tier X.
