Post-patch changes on Criteria for ''Fleet of Fog''

Can someone explain why they changed criterija for this ARP mission with this patch?

Many of us who grinding hard those 4 stages with Tier V ships wanted to get ARP ships, and now its impossible if we dont have T VII ship....

 

Why they changed criteria for those mission in middle of progress? Is that a bug?

If I remember correctly the ARP Myoko mission was a T7 challenge, whereas the Kongo was a T5, presumably WG don't want to give T7 ships out to people who don't have at least one already.

The first two missions could be completed with tier V but the second two can only be completed with tier VII. Thats the way it's always been. The reason is the first two missions reward is a kongo, a tier V, while the second two missions reward was a myoko, a tier VII.

You've never been able to obtain tier 7 Myoko class without tier 7 ships to start with.

If you're really desperate, then don't take the Saipan or the Atlanta. Take the Indianapolis or wait for the Blysawica. Otherwise, just grind hard like the rest of us ;]

Im sure it wont be active again by the time I buy T7 ship. Im still about 110k ship EXP far from buying one VII...

 

When ARP mission will be active again, then will be needed to grind all 4 stages again just to get 2nd ship who is T7?

They seem to start right when the last ones end. The ARP Kongo and Kirishima or Myoko will be next in the rotation. I expect that It'll probably be next year before Ashigara comes up again.

Probably Kongo + Myoko, because Kirishima is also BB like Kongo, and I believe its 1 BB and 1 cruiser on those missions.

I manage yesterday to get only Hiei which is T5 BB.

They will come again. Do not worry. Next ARP mission will probably come october. Get an Tier VII until then.

By October to get T7 ship, and to double the grinding for ARP cruiser if they set him up on stage 4... 

One ARP BB is enough for me.

They'll probably re-give Kongo along with Nachi. If they modelled Nachi already ?

Or maybe they'll go for a new "Kongo + Myoko".

 

Either way, I already have 3 out of the 4 Kongo class, and 2 out of the 4 Myoko-class (with Nachi not in game)... Takao when ?

Slight correction. Wargaming EU doesn't want to do that. The others don't seem to have a problem with that.

The DD kiling mission was for ARP Kongo. ARP Myoko required setting fires with a tier 7+ ship.

Takao is not unlikely at all. Did you not read patch notes? They added ARP Takao to the game for testing.

and then you Realize, that this ARP Takao at her current state might be a place holder (like seriously, WG might be generous sometimes, but they are not THAT generous...)... until Tech Tree Takao comes out. (like they said awhile back)

based on these facts:

-the RN cruiser line has only cls

-in the thread of RU info they talked about the cleveland, saying that it would return to t8 when an US CL will be in game

-i could be wrong but they have talked about takao somewhere, something like "it will be in, soon or later"

-ARP takao in the test

-they will add a demy line of jap DDS soon

 

My opinion is that the next two month we will have another kongo+myoko mission with the last myoko ship,then a mission with an ARP takao; they also will start to add some demy lines like the new jap dd, the nexts will be demy cruisers line with the addition of US cls and some jap cas/cls; probably not in this order,in this last one we will se a takao class cruiser in the tech tree, so se could see the announcent of this demy line in two month after the end of september, or maybe a bit later and they could give us the ARP takao as a sort of leak of the future takao class that will come soon.

Didnt know there are above T7 ARP ships. What about TX? Maybe considered in the future?

I like any ARP ship combined with black color. I would like to get Haguro and Kongo.

Takao is an Atago. Or more like, Atago is a ship from the Takao-class.

So ARP Takao is a tier 8. 

We could also have at some point an ARP Maya, which is a Takao-class that switched the #3 turret with 2 double AA guns. (If I remember correctly, Maya took a direct hit on her turret #3 during WW2 and so the IJN decided to replace it by AA guns, as they needed a cruiser with stronger AA)

 

For Yamato/Musashi, IMO they could simply give the skin with a mission to player that already have the Yamato. Or give it as some rewards for clan war when we'll finally have them... 

 

I'm betting on Kongo/Nachi for the next set of missions. And afterward maybe a 4-stage mission to get Takao only.
