OopsIPennedYouAgain Players 960 posts 7,026 battles Report post #1 Posted September 3, 2016 (edited) Here are some of the upcoming tier IX permanent camos: Udaloi: Friedrich der Große: Taiho: Ibuki: Kagero: Baltimore: Essex: all in a nutshell: click me Cost: 4000 doubloons Bonus: -3% detectability range by sea +4% max dispersions of shell fire by enemy -10% repair cost +100% exp earned in battle That means that all Tier IX will have a permanent camo available for purchase. What I dont like: They tend to use the same camo scheme for several ships.. Ibuki, Fubuki, Kagero and Mogami share the same camo.. which is a bit sad. (only the Taiho and Shokaku seem to carry it well...carry...get it?...no?) Srsly why paint the ships green? Gonna confuse some color-blind captain or what? Hiryu, Shokaku and now Taiho are similar as well but not exactly the same. Baltimore has Cleveland camo - or to be precise, Cleveland is is using Baltimore's historical camo. New Orleans is using an unique, so is North Carolina (she actually has two different ones, one for each hull). They are by far the best looking IMHO, together with Shokaku which Hiryu and Taiho are copies of. Wish they gave Taiho something unique. As for value - T9 ships get very good XP. If you are good with the ship you intend to buy this for it will transform it into the best free XP farmer. +100% XP and -10% repair cost transforms into substantial savings over time. Not that I'm going to buy it, but it does look really nice. FdG... isn't that one of the early (ingame) Tirpitz camos? I remember her having such a camo a good while ago.
