Well I knew it had to happen eventually as it did in World of Tanks, the tier matching has become a pointless lottery of matching utterly bewilderingly hard hitting cruisers and battleships that in 4 games out of 5 tonight I was destroyed within the first 3 to 4 minutes.  Putting Tier 6 cruisers with tier 8 battleships and cruisers is a waste of my time and money.  In the last game I was sunk by a tier 8 cruiser who hit me 11 times with HE and with every salvo took 15 to 20% of my health.  I gave up on World of Tanks for this very same reason and was until a month ago impressed by the standard of game matching in World of Warships, this has changed dramatically and so I am out of here.  

 

It has been fun, well apart from the little kids spamming rubbish in game..........

Seriously, I know how you feel, I play the Mexico for fun and credit building, and 6 out of 10 games are T8 but I earn more credits and improve my gameplay, although I am usually 5-10km behind the other ships due to only cruising at 20knts.

Don't take the game too serious. Nothing is real, just the £££££'s leaving your wallet for Doubloons.

And dont expect variety and excellence in tier 6 games couse you wont get them

I'm kinda enjoying the new MM... fun to see more different ships in a game... have to think it through more which ships one attacks or takes cover near teammate ships, stuff like that ! ;) Also more different game mechanics and play styles. For example I saw some nicolas destroyers in recent game... quite cool to see their "old" gameplay once again ! and the farraguts too... and such...

The original poster is clearly not very manly. A manly man would ALWAYS see being bottom tier in a match as an OPPORTUNITY to cause much more damage to the enemy as the hit point pool gets increased greatly.

 

This game is for manly men (and strong women) so don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out.

Give it more time, learn to play ships better, myself i played DD's constantly because, not only did i really like their style of play but because i was absolute rubbish with CA's and BB's, i have practiced a lot with BB's and got a lot better, still rubbish with CA's but not worried, find the ships you like and play them constantly and you will improve. You're chucking in the towel too soon
