On standard battle, circles are visible. Anyway, in old version was way much better.

The new circles looks just awful!! Thx for the pics Mandyxx. The old ones where much better fitting into this game! Just make the buoys react to the ships so they get pushed a little away and are not sliding through the ship.

Decrease their numbers by half and it would be just fine. But the new circles destroy a lot of the immersion.

I agree with the gents above me. The minimap changes are fine, but the on map circles were much better visible in the old version.

Oh, that explains why I couldn't find the map edge..

Was looking for the buoys and couldn't find them.

For a while was wondering if this had anything to do with the new game mode.


Agreed, the on map change doesn't work at all.

I never really liked the buoys as they make no sense, I don't like the idea of cap zones in the first place, but if we're going to have them, we need to be able to see them clearly, including from a distance.

After many games now, the circles instead of buoys just breaks the immersion for me personally. Feels completely out of place. Perhaps a toggle in settings, circle or buoys? Like with the smokescreen setting. Pretty please...

The new boundaries aren't visible enough. I would prefer a combination of the old bouys with the new circles.

Not the best picture, but in the same time, the torpedo targeting assistant became very poorly visible with some new lighting setting of the map:

Same goes for the circle border not being visible at all at C cap.

 

Update: I would strongly suggest making the new domi borders much thicker aswell, the current stripes are too thin. (tbh, smoke borders have the same problem on certain maps with certain lighting)

Maybe allow a custom colour selection for the cap? When overlapping with my smoke its hard to find out which border is which, or give the smoke circle a diffent colour

Came here specifically to note that the loss of the buoys is hindering visibility dramatically IMO.

Please leave them, at the very least as a (default) option. Visibility is way too important and its not working this way.

The minimap is fine though.

The minimap is fine yeah, but I'm still missing a transparency switch for it! Especially on small monitors the minimap covers a lot of the space and not being able to adjust the transparency is just bad.

The cap circle border is not visible enough, even when I'm close to it. It's just invisible from far.

Yes, good job with the pictures. I couldnt even see the rings in Domination? So they need to be much much clearer or maybe a setting the player can choose on the minimap option.

I think they fixed something, now are more visible (the white circles). Or is vecause the map was darker....

Pls make it optional new display of cap circle on minimap and in game it only obscure vision when circles geting capped making minimap hard to read

And 1 black circle above cap counter is enought we dont need anotherone present in the middle of the screen

 

Screen is now clogged with lines and other stuff that is only making it ugly

Buoys were much more imersive

Just thinking about it making the buoys blink / glow in either green or red if one team is capping / has capped! You will get great visibility of the cap circle, immersion isn't destroyed and you know exactly with one look at a buoy who gets the cap / has the cap!

What do you guys think about this one? If you reduce their numbers a bit and make them react to ships (getting pushed away if a ship hits them) it would be perfect!

But forget about the ugly lines for gods sake please!

I liked it better as it was before. Minimap changes are great, but I liked the buoys better, maybe in a reduced number and able to intereact (push away) when a ship hits them.

It is good to see how the cap borders change their colour dependent on the cap status. But I think in the current version of the test server the cap borders are not visible enough. Those green/grey/red lines should be thicker and additionally the old buoys should still be there.
