I think with the introuction of the Nassau the era of sucky Tier 3 BBs has ended

so I think the two other Tier 3 BBs should be brought in line with Nassau

for the Kawachi mainly disperision I think

the SC's disperision is mostly fine I found but it lacks in other areas I dont really know yet

so while we are at it I may suggest a little Sigma/Disperision buff for Myogi as well

Tbh I don't think the Nassau is really that much better than the Kawachi or South Carolina, so much that you have more expirienced drivers playing her than you normally do the other two.

Therefore I vote nay.

I rebought Kawachi a few weeks ago thinking the same thing: More experience --> much better results.

But that is not the case. Kawachis dispersion is much worse than that of BBs in later tiers. You cannot really use AP since the shells land everywhere, except at closer ranges (less than 4 km).

Nassau has a much better dispersion that allows you to aim for the parts of the enemy ship you want to hint.

There's a reason for low tier BB derp guns - you don't want to scare new players away with instant deletions...

I just suggested to bring them in line with the Nassau sure they still kinda have the Derp Guns

Nassau brought sealclubbing to a whole new level. It's been a week since it's Introduction and still there are hundereds of them littering the low tier MM queue.

It's almost disgusting. Need to wait 3 min for a battle, with this pace I may reach Kaiser in a week or two.

I voted NO - Historically (yeah, I know WG isn't all that concerned with historical accuracy), the Germans in general DID have better gunnery, and their ships, being more stable than their peers, were better gunnery platforms as well.

Historically it may make sense but balancing whise it doesnt

By that logic, should we buff the tier 4 battleships to match the Imperator as well?

Using the "best performing ship" as the basis for balance decisions is a terrible idea. Especially since win rate wise, they are about the same with Kawachi at 50,76 % and Nassau/South Carolina at ~49,9 %. Granted, there are twice as many Nassaus around than Kawachis (by player numbers), but I think 2k Kawachi players are enough to assume that the skill distribution is similar for the two ships. Buffing the guns on the Kawachi would therefore not be very wise.

And before anyone says "but the Nassau deals more damage!", I would like to point out that the sheer number of Nassaus at the moment pretty much guarantees the ship to dish out more damage than its counterparts.

Kawachi also doesn't get any armour, like SC and Nassau does.

But if we're buffing the worst BB out there, I'd like to see the Myogi get some buffs. It's so bad at the moment.

How about bringing Nassau in line with Kawa/SC instead? Before Nassau came, not many were complaining that Kawa/SC were much UP in t3, so i guess they are in line with the rest?

Easy to fix.

Kawachi -- Improve range by 1km and improve dispersion by 30% of current amount.

South Carolina -- Improve health by 3k, secondary range by 1.5km

Mikasa -- Improve secondary range to 6km, and reduce it's chance to be set on fire by roughly 50%(to allow her to actually get in the thick of the action in PvP) -- also sell her on NA server for god's sake.

Put that up on test server and give it a whirl.

EDIT: Forgot about the POS Myogi. This ship does not have enough power with her main guns... they are too inconsistent.  Give her cruiser-like accuracy and IMHO she's okay.  If cruisers can have repairs at high tier to help them there is absolutely NO REASON why Myogi cannot have cruiser accuracy (because balance) at tier 4.  You'd still have to aim, and maybe I would actually treat Myogi with respect.  Right now she is LAUGHABLE.

They sucked, everyone was in agreement.  DDs, CA/CL, CV, and BB... everyone agreed  !

Now Nassau does not suck, it's in fact pretty good, almost a Tier 3 Mikasa in that regards.  That's why the 2 others seem even worse now.

I think the problem really lie in the "Fun Factor".

The South Carolina and the Kawachi are, as I remember them, frustrating to play. Maybe this was simply because of the meta back then. There were far more DD's and CL's and not so many BB's to shoot at.

Currently, playing the Nassau is fun. It's tremendous fun. This may simply be down to the fact that BB vs BB battles can be fun. Rather than trying to doge torpedo soup in very slow big torpedo magnets.

Or perhaps it's simply because of the game play style that the Nassau promotes you to play. I have written a guide on how to Nassau. here it is: Link

For those of you who are too lazy to follow the link I will post a preview of the guide below (hint - it's also the entirety of the guide).
