The thread will remain open until 18:00BST/19:00CEST on Friday the 26th of August. Eligibility. (Only 1 entry per category per person) Mikasa society members on 1st of August who DO own a Mikasa - Category 1 & 3 only Mikasa society members on 1st of August who DO NOT own a Mikasa - Category 2 only Any member of the community & Mikasa society members after 1st of August who DO NOT own a Mikasa - Category 4 only PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES CAREFULLY! In your post, please CLEARLY state which category your submission is for. Please start you post with, for example, Category 1. IF YOU HAVE CHANGED NICKNAME SINCE JOINING THE SOCIETY, PLEASE MAKE ME AWARE IN YOUR POST! The contest is open from until Friday 26th of August. Hopefully, winners will be announced on Monday 29th of August. The contest is only open to players on the EU server as the prizes will be from the EU premium shop. Categories 1, 2 & 3 are only open to members of the society who are already on the list of 60. People can still join the society, but will not be eligible for those three categories. I am doing this only to stop people joining the society just to win a prize. Those joined since the 1st of August are now in blue on the society list. Those players should enter category 4 (if they don't own a Mikasa). If a player comes top in both category 1 & 3, the player in 2nd place in one of the two categories will be declared the winner. To enter the replay contest you must be able to upload you replays to http://wowreplays.com/ and then you must post the link to it in the results thread. Please put "Mikasa contest" at the start of the name of your replay. While there are multiple prizes for each category, the winner will get to choose which one they want. I will PM the winner and ask which prize they would like. The contest categories Category 1: Open to Mikasa owning Society members only Most damage dealt in you Mikasa in a single battle (please post a screenshot of your battle results screens showing your total damage). Prize: Diana / Aurora / Full Speed Ahead flag pack / 2500 Doubloons Category 2: Open to non-Mikasa owning Society members only. Most damage dealt in any tier 2 or 3 ship in a single battle (please post a screenshot of your battle results screens showing your total damage). Prize: Mikasa / Diana / Full Speed Ahead flag pack / 2500 Doubloons Category 3: Open to Mikasa owning Society members only Replay contest. Your most epic or most funny moment while in your Mikasa. If I win, I'll of course take a Mikasa, so that I'll become a Mikasa owning member of the Mikasa Society. Blame early morning/getting ready for work rush. I have now changed the member list on the society thread to show the post-1st of August members and updated the rules. I will enter you into category 4, so you have the chance of winning the Mikasa. And the links are perfectly fine, they work for me. Category 1 (most damage in Mikasa): 32331 damage with 90 (!) secondary hits And category 3 (epic moment): http://wowreplays.com/Replay/14758 A game that gave me, among others, a double strike. It made me laugh my @ss off It was in 0.5.9 though, so I cannot rewatch it and tell you when it happened. Here is a game where I did almost all the possible damage. Guess that doesn't count, but still hard to do better then this in a game like that. I'm currently losing battle after battle after battle sometimes with weird bugs* and I'm getting some visitors in a short while. It's a bit premature but still... Congratulations Ictogan. *weird bug (at least I can't explain it) Tier 3 battle. Myself in a tier 2 Tachibana. Myself in the middle of nowhere. No visible enemy closer then 7 km. I didn't fire a single shot. Spotting alert goes life. I look around, no one in range to spot me. I hit smoke just to be sure and hit the brakes, as there is already incoming fire from a cruiser. Spotting alert remains active while I am motionless in the smoke. No one whithin 2 km of me (or I would have spotted this one) I remain spotted for another minute and a half. As stopping in smoke didn't help, frantically evading long range fire from the above mentioned cruiser. I didn't shoot back, as I wanted my concealment back up. A friendly Battleship took care of it for me. Once that cruiser that opened fire on me died the spotting alert vanished. He never came closer then 6 km and saw me the whole time.
