[CMCS] Leepants Beta Tester 53 posts 4,891 battles Report post #1 Posted August 21, 2016 I MAY have had a couple of drinks on friday evening / saturday morning. And messed up quite badly. So, in an attempt to undo my idiocy, I sent this ticket to support..... "Hi all. I realise taht it's unlikely, but I have to ask to try to seek help from my immense drunken stupidity! Whilst almost drowning myself in cider, I believe I dismissed one of my better commanders! I bought T5 German BB whilst using ex Tirpitz Captain, and when I sold it I believe I dismissed him, so have lost a LOT of Captain experience. More gutting considering I also have recently received Scharnhorst so can get the skills up hard! So, if at all possible, could you be so gracious and re-employ the Captain I sacked? It would also go some way to mitigate the horrendous hangover I had too to compound my mistake. If said German Captain is happy to come and work for me again, I will buy him rum. Or schnapps, whichever he prefers as a hope to smooth the choppy waters. Or maybe he just went on summer holidays.....Please accept my abject apologies for my drunken stupidity and if you get to speak to the Captain I dismissed, please also let him know that it was simply an error driven on by fermented fruit juice so then hopefully he won't bear a grudge and would be willing to come back to work. Many thanks.Lee" So, what do you guys think my chances are!?? And here's me thinking that it's healthy to drink fruit juice..... lol.

[TTTX] Tyrendian89 [TTTX] Players 4,608 posts 8,139 battles Report post #4 Posted August 21, 2016 if it's technically possible for them to do it, which I think it should but have no idea really, then I'd guess your chances are pretty good - helped by the fact that you most likely made whichever Customer Service employee opens that particular ticket smile. I know you made me grin^^

MrFingers Beta Tester, Players, In AlfaTesters 3,242 posts Report post #9 Posted August 21, 2016 IIRC, ships can be restored (but only once in your active career on the EU, NA gets four clemencies per year), but captains can't.

mtm78 Alpha Tester 19,378 posts 6,105 battles Report post #21 Posted August 22, 2016 I had this topic in CBT, dismissed a very high skilled commander by accident. Result was a request for a confirmation popup just like in WoT when you want to see your tank. Anyway, chances of you getting it back are slim, I didn't get mine back ;) Granted it was CBT so it didn't really matter that much but still

I love when I was in England and other foreigners order a cider expecting the sweet apple-soda -thing, only to get a pint of dry fermented yeast-tasting 7,4%, completely opaque.
Venatacia Beta Tester 872 posts 5,885 battles Report post #24 Posted August 22, 2016 That cider is strong stuff indeed. When I was young 18 I tried to keep up with the old boys after work, 5 pints in 45 minuets. When finished we got on the airport bus to the carpark, I passed out on the bus and when I woke up there was sick running down the bus with passengers feet up in the air and a bus driver looking through his bus mirror at me with daggers in his eye's. True story. Zero chance OP and stay off that cider.
[CMCS] Leepants Beta Tester 53 posts 4,891 battles Report post #25 Posted August 23, 2016 Cider? Really? I can teach u to drink for real. Mate, I'm 47 and was in the army for 24 years, so have drunk a fair bit! Got tired of beer (gets too heavy), lager bloats me, pints of gin and tonic are too expensive and I now live in Bristol, so cider is almost seen as currency!!! ;)
