Ships like the Gnesi, CV and all torp DDs around her tier would farm her... I'm actually not so sure about the latter part. I don't think she'd be more prone to being torped than, say, the Kongo. It looks monstrously long. A Kongo is pretty long too but atleast it has something resembling fair AA defence so you've got half a chance at fighting off a derping torp bomber attack! Yes, there was a siginificant period where we were allied, but.. After that, they ganged up on us together with the English, invaded us and were only stopped by the Dutch Water Line Then there was the time they occupied our country and captured our fleet.. The French, even after occupying our country, denied us trade access, so we were unable to trade with anyone at all, which ruined our economy. By comparison, we invaded England, on request mind you, installed our own stadtholder as king, and imposed a fairly liberal constitution.. Moreover, they supported us during our struggle for independence, against the French invasion, tried to liberate us from the French, and sheltered our exiled government during World War Two, and helped liberate us at the end. And all those wars with the English, well, they led to eventful battles, such as the Raid on the Medway, where our ships managed to break through the chain on the Thames, and set their fleet on fire, while capturing some others. They gave us our most famous admirals, such as De Ruyter. In many ways, it was the rivalry between England and the Dutch Republic that made us a great nautical nation. The French actually occupied us, the English never did, instead, they tried to liberate us twice, while in return we invaded them, toppled their government, and installed our own king. I think I would prefer the English as occasional enemies and sometimes friend, rather than the French.. I want Dunkerque as well, for her tragic history as a ship that operated with the RN, hunting for German raiders, but was almost destroyed by her former allies, had to be beached but managed to survive, and was finally scuttled by the French to deny it to the Germans. The following statement comes from a WoWs developer who was interviewed during the GC and it should be the most accurate on your topic. "While launch dates for new ships are not synchronized, the idea is to have them happening within 9 days of one another." She was released at the 22nd of August so according to the Dev we should have her by the end of the month or perhaps this weekend. Fingers crossed. edit: Didn't read the last two comments. Bad guns, bad armor, bad visibility. A damage pinata for tiers 7 and 8 under the new matchmaking. This is one of the ships (like the Krasni Krim) that seem to be living excuses for the pay-to-win reality in this game, as premium ships are usually markedly superior to regulars. Bad armour? Frontally overmatched by 15". Nothing new. Angle and bounce. Bad visibility? Granted. Bad AA? Somewhat. The guns outdo anything a 14" has to offer. Actually, the Krispy Kreme is quite a good ship - when played carefully - on par or better than any other Tier V Cruiser ( except Murmansk and Konigsberg) - in my opinion that is. Haven't played that many games in her, but most of them where quite good and some worthy of the achievements thread. Originally only bought as "collectiors item" and for occasional "lets YOLO straight between those two BBs trips", this ship turned out to be surprisingly good, and when played with patience, she's the definition of DoT.
