I am fairly sure that USS Des Moines set sail in real life, as did USS Newport News and USS Salem, which still exists as a museum ship as sister ships.  Along with the Baltimore they are I believe the only tier 9 and 10 cruisers in the game that actually set sail in real life.  yet they are the worst ones of course

i was just pointing out the blanket oh all tier 10 ships were paper ships is wrong.   some such as Midway served with great distinction for many years and others like Gearing were mass produced.  I have noticed a lack of real ships at higher tiers in other lines than the americans though with Shima and Tomato being notable exceptions
