Am I the only one???? No, I agree. On the monthly survey they do I mentioned this as a problem with the "detected" system. The incoming fire icon and detected messages should be complementary and clearly differentiated. Anyone know if there is a mod that fixes this please? [IDDQD] Quetak Players 2,099 posts 22,396 battles Report post #5 Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) Someone actually uses this skill? Its pretty good skill for cruisers. Im using it for around two weeks on all cruisers and its realy good to know that Yamatos shells are comming from 20+km. Its no.1 survive skill for my cruisers now. And I agree with OP that icon is very similar with detection icon so in heavy battling is harder to notice it. Edited August 18, 2016 by Quetak

I dunno, I'm constantly zig zagging anyways and only zooming in when I'm taking a shot. I guess it could be useful for spammy cruisers where you'll have no time between reloads like Atlanta. [FATAL] krazypenguin Beta Tester 573 posts 2,930 battles Report post #8 Posted August 18, 2016 Someone actually uses this skill? I use it on all my IJN cruisers and DDs so I know I don't need to steer and mess up my turret angles or maybe waste a smoke charge. To further blow your mind, I can also honestly tell you that I don't have last stand on any of my ships, except the Yubari. :-)

Anyone know if there is a mod that fixes this please? Of course there are. Ex. very good, Russian made Black Citadel Mod. included in Aslain Pack (but Aslian it's not updated until now, so you can download it from makers) Example in neon pack: SA icon is big blue icon of ship, and IFA is big purple icon. download neon pack and copy "lamp" directory to your game directory. teamkill_2014 Players 35 posts Report post #11 Posted August 18, 2016 IS it just me or does the detected icon (plane one) go off when an allied plane flies over you at the moment without enemy planes within 20km... ok so i am detected by my own side. ironhammer500 Beta Tester 1,111 posts 5,268 battles Report post #13 Posted August 18, 2016 Or how about remove the skill, this Skill is far to strong on Cruisers since they can dodge anything that would have a 6 second travel time and it tells as soon as someone fires rounds at you.. either it should warn you a few seconds before impact or not at all. Its not really all that strong. If someone keeps dodging when you fire don't fire salvoes.

Userext Beta Tester 5,342 posts 2,957 battles Report post #21 Posted August 18, 2016 If you want to know the second you go undetected. It is a pain. well there is the 3 seconds rule. If you are undetected that guy wouldnt trigger your "incoming fire" alert. And when you leave detection zone you have 3 seconds before going invisable. And you might need to know about the other thing keeping you detected that you don't see... well SA has been deleted from skills so i m not sure about that The other thing? You mean a sneaky destroyer? I mean if they can lock on to you that clearly means you are still spotted. Besides knowing most cruisers have incoming fire skill i usually aim and then lose the lock

The system that can be auto or manual(X key)? That means you are spotted so there is no reason to replace them It doesn't. It will activate if a ship near you is the main target, or if you're in smoke and enemies are trying to shoot you while invisible. On topic. From my opservation, what incoming fire alert does is just make the "detected" icon redder and add the word "incoming!". It doesn't actually have its own icon. I used to use custom detected icon mods (the big red one for surface, yellow for planes and green for radar/sonar), and that one obviously sucked for incoming fire alert. So I just edited the "detected by surface" icon myself and made it white. It worked great like that.

Black Cytadel is not working now (I attached a link a few posts before).I just did the same with BlueMan's detection. Just wrote to him if he could make some changes like this: If he refuses (once did)- then I will make another icon mod and will publish it soon.
