Just could not be polite anymore as a Fubuki went straight to the back at the beginning of the match and 5 mins later telling everyone he had to use the toilet and a Mahan meanwhile charged a Benson+ Kiev in a cap alone while blaming his death on the team (ofc)
[OM] ghostbuster_ Players 4,996 posts 21,881 battles Report post #5 Posted August 11, 2016 I have no problems with getting chat bans because of being reported for "misbehavior in chat". But there should be also some consequences if i report someone for "playing poor" or "being bot".

There could of been a chat mod in the battle who placed the ban on you for your comments about the team. the goal posts on battle based chat bans was changed a while ago ( it takes more reports to trigger a ban ) but if you think the ban is unfair then you need to go to support with proof of your last battles ( in the form of replays ) and make an appeal against it.

[-SBG-] ColonelPete Players 38,559 posts 19,177 battles Report post #12 Posted August 11, 2016 There is only limited flanking in game. A fleet is not one spot on the map, but an area 10+km big. If you want to achieve "flanking", you have to get pretty close from both sides and ignore targets 5 km closer to you. The 10 minutes you need to circle two brothers, one flank has to endure the firepower of the whole enemy team while the other flank cannot engage the enemy. More firepower - better chance to win. According my own experience lemming train on that map causes defeats mostly. If you want to do it, do it.

[ST-EU] Admiral_noodle Supertest Coordinator 6,337 posts 4,395 battles Report post #16 Posted August 11, 2016 Lemming training two brothers doesn't work because the counter is big push the other way (uncontested so fast) with a token delaying force to slow down the lemming train. So you cap your side faster and as long as the delaying force can kite without dying your push force will end up behind the lemming train on their first cap before the blob has even capped their point. Then they get annihilated from behind. It's important to adapt your strategy to events - like what are the event doing? As well.

EsaTuunanen Beta Tester 3,552 posts 8,863 battles Report post #22 Posted August 11, 2016 This is a Hitpoint based game. Splitting firepower cannot be superior. Its simple math. Hitpoints and firepower sitting thumbs up its arse at map edge behind one cap is no good. They matter only if they control big enough area of the map. Or if enemy is dumb enough to rush in instead of stalling and taking control of rest of the map. And unless you put ships side by side they can't even that well focus that firepower to take out kiting enemies. Slow USN battleships tend to always lag behind cruisers anyway and IJN battlesheeps use their speed to go fast humping border so they can't get good hits on kiting enemies. And how often you get cruisers to group decently instead of half of also them staying at max range? Lemming train works on Two Brothers if you have a couple of smart DDs that stall the enemy on the other side... but that is a bit too much tactics for random battles... But if those DDs don't have any support they can't stop even semicompetent enemies from pushing.

Almost never saw enemy teams in random battles, that kept pushing once the first invis-fired torp salvos got their way.

Is this going to get anyone behaving normally a chan ban? Very unlikely. Is this going to get someone behaving normally multiple chat bans? Extremely unlikely. Is the OP using words who gets censored automaticly while calling other people who merely report someone keyboard warriors? Yes. How likely is it that he's actually behaving normally? You can be the judge of that.
